Morisette is a professional singer and well experienced, international well known, meanwhile Claudia is just a newbie and it is her very first stage and appearance.
It is unfair to compare between them. In her early stage and process, Claudia has achieved this level, that's amazing and superbulous.

Girl in singing there is no experienced when your a good singer your a good singer like one of our singer in the Philippines (Marcelito Pomoy) He has no training but he can do Opera And Soprano this just show how talented Filipinos is.

I was not going to comment but seeing some comments accusing Morissette of making a flat note (which is not true) and singing for herself (totally absurd). There are some things that must be made clear. Morissette is one of the few singers who first puts the message and the emotional aspect of the song before the vocal and technical aspect (she is not to blame for having a richer and more powerful tone), so avoid guessing without facts. Claudia and Morissette sang with their hearts but emotionally performed the song differently: Claudia in my opinion was softer while Morissette was more aggressive, both very beautiful performances.

The best singer is who can give you goosebumps or can make you cry when she sings a song. It's not just a singing technique.
Singing with a high technique and powerful but without feeling from your heart and the audiences got nothing just say ' what a high and powerful voice!' is like playing football with high skill but can't make a goal.

You're right, we'll do injustice comparing the two. Morissette was awesome with that live performance in the Philippines whereas Claudia was being live for a blind audition. Like you, I love them both for their unique differences. Since Claudia will reappear in about 3 weeks for another "battle" :) , I think we just love to show our support for Claudia to win this season of the Voice (Germany). Brave Claudia! To the finale!

Having a powerful voice doesn't mean you have no emotions while singing. How do you think she can sang that powerfully? Because of her deep and strong emotions. That made her approach in singing in that way. It doesn't mean when you sing slow, more air or airy, soft or etc. that is the only time you have emotion/s. Emotions could be soft, hard, calm, peaceful, or even powerful if you got my point.
i am not fan of morissette, but she is def one of the best singer in the world in my opinion.claudia has a brigh future but for me morissette rendition of "never enough" is way better not only in vocal terms but also in the emotional aspect, anyone who says morissette amon sing with no soul must be blind and deaf... but thats my opinion
