I live in Colorado too. Have a 2020 Indian Scout Bobber 60. I ride the peak to peak all the time! I'm sure we've passed each other on the road! I just bought a freedom performance combat for my exhaust. Need to throw it on in the coming months.
Love that you just talk about anything and everything as you ride. No agenda, nothing you are trying to sell! That’s what riding is really about. BTW what is your opinion on the effectiveness of the small fly screen? I have had my Scout Bobber Twenty for a couple months. The stock exhaust is soooo underwhelming!! Cheers from down under.
Thank you! I appreciate that. Riding is a form of therapy for me. I just am able to piece together my thoughts and just let them come out. I try and mix in my short form and long form but this channel is for me, not for my career or dreams of being some big time creator. The small fly screen is honestly worth it. I am 6 foot 3 and deflects exactly the right amount of wind to keep it from hitting me while I ride. Even at highway speed its genuinely good. Both myself and my father who is a veteran rider commented on its effectiveness. Cheers!
@@motowillg5398 Thanks for the advice and feedback. I rode the bike over 1000kms from Canberra (where I bought it) to Adelaide (where I live) and the wind buffeting without any screen was exhausting! I’m not likely to do a trip like that again so the smaller fly screen appeals more than a bigger one. I also swapped to a Saddlemen seat the moment I got back as the factory seat was excruciating 😣. Saddlemen has a different shape - more curved across the back edge. This and the gel cushioning make a big difference. After the screen, my next investment will be the pipes! I need to hear more from that awesome motor. 👍
I am 6'3" 180lbs. Pretty tall and lanky. There are a few configurations that would work perfectly for you. I have the mini ape hangers and standard foot controls. My knees are bent but not uncomfortable, I like this riding position. Now you can get the flat bar and/or extended controls and you would have ALOT more legroom. I had the optional extended controls and I did not like them, it was a little too relaxed of a riding position for me. However, most guys our height prefer them. The mini apes are awesome, I would highly suggest them over the standard flat bar the regular bobber comes with, they are really comfortable. Hope that helps.

How tall are you? I’ve been looking at getting a bobber twenty but I’m 6’3”. Also it would be my first bike
Thanks
