    Too good. Easy to learn... I'm also teaching some kids and this also helps a lot. Thankyou.

    Thank you!!! I started using your videos this week and found them so fun but long for integrating into lessons. We are going to use these warm ups every week with my 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders.

    Mr. G, I have commented on many of your videos and you're probably getting sick of me by now, but I just HAD to thank you one more time for your talent, hard work, and generosity! Teachers EVERYWHERE are going to benefit from these incredible videos. HOW do you make the TIME, dude?!? I'm in awe.🙌 I think I'm your biggest fan, though not in a creepy way. 😂 I live in Texas, so you don't have to worry about me stalking you.👌 But seriously, I was already a big fan, and then I saw your prize video! I was knocked out by what I heard! You REALLY pay for all of those prizes out of your own pocket???? I'm flabbergasted!! You MUST be independently wealthy, or... maybe you really ARE a movie star, as you joked in your intro video.😉 I mean, a lot of teachers buy prizes for students out of their own pockets, but holy cow, dude! You're giving away EXPENSIVE stuff to multiple students! And once a year you give away a BIG gift?? Like a new laptop????? I can't even afford to buy MYSELF a laptop once a year! But, regardless of how you afford that (and, yes, it's none of my business), the bottom line is that you are just so dang generous! Have you ever won a national teacher of the year award? I'm going to find out how to nominate you, bro! God bless you!!!🙏💖🎶👨‍🏫

      Wow Winde I really enjoy reading your comments! Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to send the messages. Regarding your questions about the prizes - I have always enjoyed giving away little gifts to the students for their hard work. I don't usually give away the big prizes in a "normal" year, - I'm only doing that as an incentive and a way of saying thank you to the students who put in the time and effort to attend our online classes in this difficult time. I'm just trying to make our year as fun as possible for them. I'm not spending as much as you think on the prizes - just a bunch of little prizes from amazon (fruit snacks, Rubik's cubes, etc...) and then ONE big prize at the end of the semester - but for that I just calculated all the money I'm saving on gas and other expenses since we are online only at the moment, and I'll just spend that on the prizes for the students instead. Anyway I really appreciate your comments on all the videos and I hope everything is going well for you in Texas. Take care!

    Love it - how about separating your hands for the rests..because they look like longer notes?

    • @Mr.Gordon
      @Mr.Gordon  4 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      YES! I usually do that in class too... I'm not sure why I don't always do that in the videos - thinking about too many things at once I guess, but your comment will help me remember that for future videos. Thanks Kath!

    My students ADORE these videos. Thanks so much for the work that you're posting. You've made a non-music teacher who has been placed in a music class very happy with your resources. You're teaching me as much as the students. Cannot say thank you enough!

      Darlene - I use Final Cut Pro to edit the videos. Some are recorded with my phone, some with a Sony camera, but all of the editing is done in Final Cut Pro.
