The sea looks better in the GameCube version. Also, what does the grass look like in the PS versions? Point for the GameCube. The PS4 version is actually the PS2 version in 1080p. Water and Grass looks better on GameCube. Textures and resolution looks better on the PS4 version.
It’s crazy to remember that the GameCube WAS the more powerful console, it’s just that due to the disc size of GameCube titles, it couldn’t show off as much as the competition. Due to the small nature of this game however, here’s a rare instance where it could, and god damn does it shine.
Ps2 have choice for son or daughter, get lumina as a wife, less crop space, have to put fertilizer on the grass, and after death their a thing called heaven so you can play as much as you like with many more years, and their a little more extra scenes and if you don’t choose a wife you get muffy, GameCube you have more farm plot, grass always grows, you can connect friend from mineral town and the gc game, and Celia will be your one if you don’t choose.
@@majinoblivionPS2 is considered hard mode because the large field needed to be unlocked, and them you have to grow your own grass by putting fertilizer on it But overall from the Quality of Life of the game, it is worth it
Anything other than the GameCube version is a complete rip off. So what if you can marry Lumina in the special edition. Wasn't worth the immense downgrade.
GameCube because graphics, much better music and dramatically better load times. Plus, when they added Lumina as a candidate in SE, they made no good effort making her look physically identical to the other ones, making her an uncomfortable option to choose. Though that is to say, they remedied this in the remake. Only downside to that version is they chose to remix the trash PlayStation 2 music instead of GameCube and the environment could do with a polish to its shading.
@@morelove4ya thanks. i think i'll play again,,starting over with gamecube version on my nintendo wii. long ago,i play PS2 version on my PS2,and stop playing because i don't like the movement of my character.
@@retrofil1 PS4 version is definitely the better version of the PS2 port due to the load times being improved. However, not by a lot as it still suffers from fps drops like the PS2 port which was pretty crazy considering it is on advanced hardware. The Cube version is lag-free and has a stable framerate with no drops, so my ranking would be GC > PS4 > PS2 in terms of playability or smooth gameplay

Which one is your favorite?
ps2 version was my favorite

Im currently playing the new Switch remake of this game and I still miss the old game cube version
I just brought out my gc to try play it again and it won’t read any discs - I so sad 😢 never got to see my toddler grow up in game
The game looks sooo good on GameCube..yet they port the ps2 version?
to expand their player and fan base. this game was obviously made for the GameCube and most of the comments are from the ps2 players
Gamecube version more colorfull
The shadow is real, gamecube all the way
I don't know what's the difference between the original version and the special edition
Can marry lumina and have a daughter

Yes,this is recommended 🎉

Gamecube wins.
Better vegetations and water reflecting effect.
GameCube version are great. The animated and angle are nice
I prefer the PS2 version
@realyoda7592 u can play on android emulator and use 2 analog..one for move your MC and second analog for rotate camera
Ps 2 more realistic than gamecube..
U can see the different between morning, afternoon, evening, and night time
The PS2 version is a choppy, buggy mess sadly. Stick with the Gamecube original.

Faster animation on PS4?
Got this game on the PS2 first, was very disappointed with the framerate. Good thing i play it on the Cube now
so the gamecube version was better in characters movement?
i already play PS2 version and the movement so heavy.
@@HyungYayanIn terms of gameplay, the gamecube version is superior. No slowdowns or heavy movement, just smooth and fast performance

Gamecube water looks best lol
Altogether I think the GC looks the best
The now loading screen ruined it for me. Gamecube didnt have that which is bizarre
Can you do Stardew Valley?
GameCube 👍
The ps2 version is an insult 🥲
its crazy how shite the ps2 version ran no matter the hardware
The game doesn't even have a PS4 release? Why do you always include jailbroken PS4 footage?
