Actually, in my view this song can not be there with out lady singer voice. Starting it self singer has brought depthness of music. She is deserved anything like in Music Industry. Even if you put Shreyagoshal ,we would have missed great magic of this song. .
I literally cried at the ending. Being a daughter I can understand the love between a daughter and a father. In fact in this whole movie she imagined her father as her lover, which is so true❤
She imagined so because she went through a huge trauma and was left alone, so her mind, made up a protective figure who will always be there, since she grew up all in the same toxic environment it got more stronger and also cause she saw the beautiful bond between her mother father from young age and looked upto that..it's not just imagination, it's mental health trauma

To emote it in a way that everyone else watching it would feel the same aching pain is the quality of such a brilliant actor. I just watch this song for that one scene… the emotional availability and performing it so honestly… hats off to this guy. If a better actress had been sharing the screen, this scene would have been absolute masterpiece. It still is gold and only due to Dhanush.

Oh my god. What a movie. After watching this movie, I found it has something different and other things to tell through emotions, not just about love. This movie didn't only touch our hearts but some social aspects of our society blended with emotions such as jabariya shadi, childhood trauma, honour killing, different cultures uniting, and yes Dhanush's one sided love (iconic✨) I thought this would be one of the cliches' love stories of bollywood but at the end it all made sense. Storyline is something different and yes Acting of Dhanush and Akshay was commendable. Sara also gave her best ❤✨👍🏼 If I would say anything about Rahman's Sir music it would be an understatement. What can i say about the songs of this movie when just his 'humming' voice in this song is stealing hearts.... OVERALL, It was a good watch and stars for the storyline again ❤✨ it's truly ATRANGI 😄

@@Nilamrathod2212 Akshay Kumar was actually his father. And the story that she was imagining was a real story of her parents that she was a spectator of. She started imagining herself at her mother's place. She didn't remember her mother's face and she had Akshay Kumar's photo as magician so that's how she imagined his face.
