    Great review! Appreciate your time putting this together. It has helped me to weed this bag out of the running. Thank you for the honest review.

    Recently I am using G1 Little Brother pack for hiking mountains and it's amazing. Can't go wrong with Eberlestock gears.

    I'm in the market for a subdued EDC pack capable of holding a laptop that could fit into tight, urban settings like a subway. Would you recommend this over the Switchblade? The Switchblade dimensions make it look like a turtle shell.
    EDIT: ended up buying the jackknife

    Great review! Have you tried placing your PCC diagonally within the clamshell? Might help with zipper closure a bit.

      I’ve tried, but it extends past the side zipper if done that way

    Going traveling pretty soon and looking for a good travel bag that I can use as an EDC pack when I get back. Manly for work and possibly day hunts. I’m tied between this pack and the switchblade. Do you have a recommendation? The switchblade looks a little too big for a plane carry on.

      @richardcupo I would recommend the Switchblade over the Jacknife for EDC and day trips. I’m not sure of exact dimensions for carry-on restrictions, but if it’s not loaded to max capacity, I’d imagine it would fit under a seat no problem. Hope this helps!

    Do you think the backpacker stock would work better? Or perhaps if the rifle was at an angle?

    Disliked it for carrying broken down ar. Need some sort of straps to keep upper and lower from moving around. Perfect for a B&T ghm9 fully collapsed and a sig rattler with mag out and stock folded. It’s a great looking pack and seems to be constructed well

    do you have any other bag suggestions that have a takedown rifle capability and laptop sleeve but a flat bottomed?

    • @SJA-Reviews
      @SJA-Reviews ปีที่แล้ว

      @3is You may want to check out the Nomadic Research Raid Pack, the Vertx Gamut 2.0, or the Eberlestock Little Trick (not sure if that one has flat enough of a bottom though). Hope this helps!

    Thank you for sharing, perhaps you mentioned it and I didn't notice, but which colour is yours? Are there any kinds of velcro at the side straps to roll and shorten them like the bandit has? Thank you, God bless you, best regards from Germany

    • @SJA-Reviews
      @SJA-Reviews ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Andre, this is the Grey color, and the side straps only have about 3in of extra material. There is an elastic loop that holds that extra bit down, but no velcro like the Bandit. I hope this helps!

    Will this bag fit a 13.9 upper?

    • @SJA-Reviews
      @SJA-Reviews ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, thank you for the question. Yes, the bag is ~20in long, so it will fit a 13.9” upper 👍🏼

    07:35 seems pretty lazy, designed by people who don't carry the items this is intended for. There should be straps to hold the weapon still...velcro inside....pockets for magazines....straps. They need to hire some EDC consultants.

      True. I’m looking at this for my braced MP5 clone with an A3 style sliding brace. One could use those inside side pockets for mags or a suppressor.

    You should watch their videos and listen to how they pronounce the company name correctly
