Love all five suggestions!! I’d personally add backups to some of your favorite discs as well for number four. Played an event and lost one of my go to drivers during warmups, and had to scramble to try and make a disc from the player’s pack work for the actual event! It was….rough.
Minis is such a key point. Played my first 2 day tournament in the fall and made the final card on the Sunday. I had a chance to win. But I always flip my disc and one of the other players called me out on flipping and not marking. This got into my head and I ended up going from 1st to 6th. So mark your lies and keep good vibes only
Mole skin (my best friend), headache meds, bandages and alcohol wipes, eye drops are some of my essentials I've needed as well as 2-3 protein bars and an energy shot. I never use the last one, but have been in several situations where the ones I played along with sure needed one. I guess they got over-excited and when it wore off their game crashed hard. I've won a few, but don;t play for those reasons. I just love the game and working the angles. I do also keep a backup outfit and shoes in my vehicle, though I've never needed those yet.
If you wanna play with people at your level you better have a PDGA number or they’re gonna stick you with the intermediate division. At least that’s what happened to us for our first dubz

I cannot afford to give them t-shirts with expensive embroidery/screenprinting, or buying everyone discs, so I will include a gift card they can use at the local sporting goods store to buy their own disc. Anything you can think of that would be unique? I already am including a caddie (scoring) book, a 6 x 9 inch clipboard, a glow in the dark keychain (w/para-cord) a cooling towel, 2 mini's, any advice?

You may want to bring a little food depending on format and length. When you have enough towels, add a couple more. It won't hurt.

I needed one at my first tournament of the year in January…very awkward situation haha delayed the start of the round!
Just get out there and do it. We aren't winning money and are just having a good time.

Not so much on the scorecards anymore... I played 17 sanctioned events this year and only one even allowed a paper scorecard.
This year paper is back. Paper scorecards must be provided now that everyone must keep score.

Something I think that goes overlooked is snacks! Granola bars, trail mix, etc.
