I watched this episode a few weeks ago. I was so excited to see A Martinez in it and that it was a Little Joe episode. Two of my favourite actors, both very talented.

Very nice piece with A. Martinez. You might try looking up Charles Cioffi, as he would be a great actor to discuss with. He and Mike did good scenes together so perfectly.
How wonderful to watch Bonanza as it's airing and then get to be on show and save Little Joe! What a dream come true! Good to hear that story of Michael having only given his input when asked because Michael wanting to control things is the perspective we hear a lot. I'm sure Michael did take control if he felt compelled to but not at all times so it's just good to know it depended and wasn't an domineering thing. The fact that painting of him from the episode still hangs in his parents' house aww. They must have been so proud to see their son on the big show that they would all watch. To be on such an iconic American show, with such a great role too he really was the main character of that episode, at such a young age to carry that episode, you can tell he was proud of that. As he should be he was excellent! And yes he sure did save Little Joe, protecting him throughout the episode. He must've felt amazing to play hero to a hero of his growing up! Thanks for this find!
You’re welcome! I haven’t seen this episode yet. I took a 1 year break watching Bonanza so I’m still watching season 8! But I’m back watching now and won’t stop until I’ve seen every single show, I promise.
@@helanesolomon1724 the entire series was just released on DVD on May 23. I just found that out today! On a whopping 112 discs 🫨 $200 but I'm thinking why spend that money when I can watch all the episodes on TH-cam? So maybe one day I'll get it but not now I think. There's bonus material, much of which you've uploaded yourself to your channel. There's other material that would be new to me so maybe those will make their way onto TH-cam. I could also look at checking it out from the library.
@@angelofmercies4602 it’s possible that some new material from the DVDs may come to TH-cam. I probably won’t be the one uploading though. I’m probably not getting the complete series because I had seasons 1 to 11 already on dvd so I just bought season 12-14. The disc with new materials is only with the complete series. Can’t afford it now, but maybe one day. But I’m sure it might get out there. I’ll share anything I see. ☺️
