Is the 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport Reliable?

- 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport in my opinion is a great buy for first time buyers to cars, students and those looking for something in-expensive with good reliability and warranty. This car review explains why I think this. Leave your comments on what you think.
I have owned four of them.
The older ones were more robust in a few ways but my 2021 is great. I buy them as daily runabouts.
Oil changes are a breeze and when I do 16hr. straight runs to Florida I trust these more than my other cars. Also resale value has been great even though the haters say it ain't so. The only negative is Nexen tires are junk.
I have never had any CVT issues either.
I ve had mine for 2 years now, and yes, is very reliable.
Thanks for that info. For the money, great warranty, it's worth it. The platform has been around. It's solid.
Mitsubishi don't build cars for the looks, they are built for reliability. I've seen these engines last well past 150,000 miles without serious maintenance. I'm not a big fan of their CVTs but for the price you can't complain when it's an 4wd

I've had mine 10 years, over 200k miles. Everything works. All speakers sound great.
I personally think these look great. I know these have been on the market for several years but still a better alternative to some of the newer offerings. Thankyou
The SUVs are starting to look way better over the past few years.
Mitsubishi's are such reliable and safe cars, I highly recommend it to family and friends 👍👍 great job Mitsubishi 😃
I agree, my BF drove his brand new 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse (little sports sedan) to AK fr TX and its value demonstrated better than any Chevy GMC Ford vehicle we ever owned (we’re elderly, we sold it in 2019 still running), I recently purchased this featured car based on past experiences & ratings of purchased and/or driven cars, I’ve never made a better decision in purchasing a vehicle.

Great review... I agree. Something for a college student or something but it's affordable and it's pretty clean and safe.

These aren’t bad cars I know a few people with them they’re sluggish and loud with the cvt and kind of uncomfortable on longer trips but you do save a lot of money compared to getting a Corolla cross or a Honda hrv. The biggest up for the Mitsubishi is the powertrain warranty. Biggest issue id predict for these would be the cvt since generally their engines are pretty decent.
As a 27 year old man in the market for a budget SUV it was hard to listen to you describe it as a cute car you’d buy for your daughter 😂

Wow, it's actually a nice ride.
Driving a charcoal grey one..been driving it since 9 original miles... at around 9k now.. it seems like it broke and runs way better... no need to use the sport mode on any highway...geared way low.
Red is the best color.

Never been a fan of Mitsubishi but its "cute".
Due to the thick chrome elements and sharp edges and shapes of the front of the car, I think it gives off a more masculine appearance. I like the front of the older Outlander Sport model but the overall new design is something I can get used to. Buuuuut, I'm considering buying an older Sport model to get the older design anyway.
That’s why I disagreed with what he said. The front is masculine to me and it has my attention. I love that look.

I always go with ford. I had my 2018 ford focus smashed in a car wreck and something told me to go with an outlander. I got it for safety ratings. I love it and have more gas mileage than my focus had. I love my galaxy blue 21 outlander sport se. And it's made in Japan.

I truly believe this vehicle is for those who want less tech and no long term added issues. Unfortunately it cannot compete with Honda Toyota just based on standard safety features. Ex emergency braking or radar cruise. Lastly make sure you get this rustproofed. Many that I see even 4yrs old are rusting .low dealer network. . Otherwise the look is nice.
Most toyotas and honda models sold in U.S aren't even made in japan. I'd take this made in japan mitsubishi over overpriced U.S built japanese cars any day.
@@POSS99 Actually there quite a few Japanese made japanese vehicles in North America, dealer net work for mitsu is deplorable anyway.
