Finally broke the 1min30 barrier!
It was going to be a hot day, so I had to make my first stint of the morning count. This was only my 3rd lap of the day, but considering that I think I managed to deliver a decent performance. Hopefully I'll have an opportunity to hunt that 28 second mark next year on a cooler day! - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ

The laptime is mindblowing. Hope people will appreciate how insane are your driving skill and how well tweaked your car is.
To put things in perspective, you are one second off the lap record with a 2-Eleven, and 1:28.111 is the Lotus Cup Europe record at Dijon with an Evora GT4.

Thank you so much for your comment! I’ve been trying hard haha. I *know* I can still improve. T1/2/3 we’re not clean and I slowed down too much in the final sector. The car itself might benefit from some more aero on the rear to reduce sliding in high speed sectors. And I still have a lot of weight I could remove with better seats and roof and trunk cover. Let’s see how far we can take this!
@@RobSpoel There is always room for improvements. But the laptime is already stellar for a car with a slow top speed in the main straight.
The balance seems incredible. Glad to witness what an Exige S2 can do with the original engine (even if upgraded to 280 hp) and a perfectly balanced chassis.
Does your car got a LSD?
It’s running a Quaife locking gears style LSD. It helps a lot with getting the power down on corner exit, but it’s not aggressive locking for what is essentially a street car optimized towards driving in the Swiss alps.
@@RobSpoel The way the car behaves at corner exit, smoothly handling the powerslide is awesome. Stock, there is a lot of unstability when the rear wheels spin. Definitly one of the first mod to do. My V6 is so frustrating without one...
Quaife seems to be the best for both road & track!

Thanks! Believe it or not but I was still being "careful" and approaching the limit from below, since this was my second fast lap of the day (lap 3 including counting the outlap). If only the day hadn't been so incredibly hot to destroy laptimes after this stint, maybe I could push for that 1:28.xx sometime...

Correct 2ZZ. Never had any issues, the engine seems pretty bullet-proof!

@@DimoS... A baffeld pan is recommend or an oil catch tank. The later exige S2 models have an oil catch tank from factory. I heard that the 1ZZ Pan also fits and it has some baffels. Or you can buy a moroso oil pan.
