Commanders go in the middle so that deck size and graveyards are more visible. Plus when we record in person the life counter is in the middle, so it's easier to put your commander under it than need to reach around all the decks potentially knocking them over.
I built Loot and he's super fun. He's like a mini Azusa stapled to a mini Mayael/Kinnan. Toss a bunch of landfall payoff cards and just value creature in and you're good to go. Can be built pretty budget friendly too.
Both are good. I personally prefer Slinza because I've wanted a beasts commander for like 8 years. Loot is very effective though since it's ramp plus card advantage in the command zone for just 3 mana.
It’s been 69 years but I am back! We will see if I get in in game night tho. I’ve been playing a lot of Yugioh and sparking zero, but do want to get a Lady Orca game soon!

Slinza is the deck i want to build the most. Love that he can figh any time a 4 powe creature enters not just yours..

Friendly Reminder Slinza can trigger on ANY 4 or more power ETB to fight whatever he wants.
I have an Azusa deck built but after seeing Loot, I think it’s time for a change of command.
Azusa as commander is still just better imo.

Loot seems so generic, very boring.
They massacred him. Loot, the key to everything is currently my favorite deck. Draws an extra 3/4 cards a turn it’s almost unfair.
