@@AlexTeo seriously, I highly suggest you get Philips for your next TV. I used Philips TV since 2015 and has zero issue (fingers crossed). Now I am using the 77oled807 and it's beautiful. I got it for $6k on June 2023. A 77" oled at $6k during that time is unheard of, cheapest oled in SG for a pretty decent brand. Similar Sony ,LG or Samsung oled at this size easily hits $10k+?. It's android/google based so you can definitely have more app variety (even sideload 3rd party apps). Lastly, the inbuild ambilight means you do not have to seperately get Philips hue back strips for it. It's really an all in one package tv.
Have you considered Yamaha soundbar before? I walked into a Yamaha shop at Plaza Sg and a Sonos showroom at Adelphi( showcasing Arc Ultra). I find Yamaha’s sound imaging is much better than Sonos and it’s even cheaper.
Hey Alex, thanks for all the smart home videos, i love integrating smart features and Making LLMs and AIs with my system, im getting my new bto soon and looking to do the same! Hope to meet up for coffee one day and and jam about all this!!
Alex, can the Aqara Z1 Pro switches be used as two-way switches? We have two-way switches by our night stands that control our bedroom down lights, ceiling fan and LEDs and would like to convert our bedroom lighting to smart features. Perhaps making one of the switches wireless mode and setting up commands/routines?
Hi Alex, will you be doing a video on comparing tineco and dreame wet & dry vaccum since they are 2 most popular choices out there for the wet & dry vaccum? Currently using dyson v12 & Black&Decker steam mop with Dreame L10S robot vaccum. Wanting to cut down the vaccum + separate steam mop combo, not sure which brand would be the better dry+wet vaccum.

The Philips Hue TV backlight can still work with a normal LG QNed TV? It only does not work with the LG G series you mentioned in this video (I'm assuming its those thin type like a photo frame)?
the hue sync app will be available on the lg tv soon, but only on lg tvs equipped with web os 24 (lg from 2022) the price in euros is 130€ or via monthly subscription of 3€
Thanks for the video! I recently bought a resale in Sengkang and I've gotten a Bravia 7, and I'm considering a Sonos Arc Ultra. Problem is, I do not intend to get additional speakers at the back. I notice your living room layout is similar to the one I'm moving into, left side window, right side goes all the way to the door. Do you know if the surround sound from the Sonos Arc is able to bounce sound from the right side (door side) and reach the viewer's ears as good or effective as the left side (bouncing from the windows)?
@Endruu @AlexTeo How about Sony Theatre Quad? Sonos Arc Ultra plus Era will cost quite similarly to the Quads. You can request for demo at some of the Courts store.
@@jajabingb oh! Wait aren't the quads way more expensive? But also I have no area behind my wall to mount it so I might resort to just a sound bar solution
@Endruu I'm comparing Arc Ultra plus Rear speaker setup and Quads. For Quads will be an occasional free bundle with a subwoofer. Sonos are good, too. I'm just giving you more options. The surround sound on both are great. Either one you choose, you'll enjoy it. With Sonos, you can get the Arc Ultra first, and slowly adding the rear speakers if you want more of that bubble feeling.
you can add sonos speakers into google home but google home don't recognise it as a google speaker whereby you can set whole home audio or choose it as an output speaker for your automations
Nice video. 1) I thought that you would upgrade your wall clock to a large, nice wifi clock that can sync with the internet time server. Oh, would be great if it can chime too. 2) It's time to change your wall world map from colonial format to Asian format where ASEAN is in the centre, Europe on the left and America on the right. :-)
"HONEY WAKE UP, A NEW ALEX TEO VIDEO JUST DROPPED!!!"
this comment really put a smile on my face!
I got a Philips TV for my house because of limited budget and it's honestly really good. Best part is the in-built Philips hue lighting.
maybe next time i try for room tv, do you have the starhub app in the app store?
@@AlexTeo if you mean StarHub TV+, yes it's in the playstore since Philips TVs are also android.

For surround song Sonos ERA 300 is good also you need to add the Sub woofer to enjoy the full experience of the Sonos sound bar.
yeah I agree, but I'm not so much into audio so see how it goes!
The sub is more for movies not for audio music, try it and you will love it watching movies with Atmos sound.

there is a piece of wood stick at the bottom of the marble, that's why i know i can easily screw the legs in
