+Rizal Amrul Hadi you can put it anywhere but it will be installed on C:\ by default - or whatever is your root path for default installation of any software.

SO at $7,128 per core, it would cost $975K to license SQL Server Enterprise on a dual socket (2x 64 core) loaded Epyc server? Clustered on 3 of them for high availability, then $2.8 million dollars? LOL!

If you are talking about each socket has 64 cores, then it would be 128 cores, sql enterprise lic with sa to cover 2 cores is close to $17K, also you only have to pay for primary if other servers are just for high availability.
