Charlie Munro apparently the whole virtus system has been sent back as there have been major problems such as webbing snapping and not being able to get up after laying in the prone position. So I guess Virtus is on hold, under major redevelopment, or just scrapped...

Not theatre since the Army isn't deployed on a combat posting, but they are getting rolled out to the inf regiments AFAIK. AR and the less infantry oriented regiments won't see em for a little while I reckon, but they'll replace Osprey eventually obvs. ACH isn't Virtus, the helmet is new. It looks similar, but its different in a few regards.
Lambda Videos what do you mean the Army isn't Involved with combat? Kenya and Cyprus are good examples. We may not be out in Afghanistan having firefights everyday, but we're still out there on the front line, prepared for firefights
That's just splitting hairs. And if you think that Afghanistan was a humanitarian deployment, you're very much mistaken. That's like saying the Falklands was a humanitarian deployment. Bloody hell.

Neither Kenya or Cyprus are combat deployments. Kenya is a peacekeeping role, and I guess you could say that Cyprus is too.
