Do anything with trees stumping and digging trees out is hard on the machine bucket pins swing gear!!! But it's faster with an excavator than a skid steer!!! Great video!!
Great work, very professional as always. You really get tossed around in the cab when you're working the machine at a decent pace. Those springy roots can really toss rocks and dirt; I guess it's their revenge for being yanked out.
Great video. I cannot believe that your excavator has to work so much to get those stumps out....shows how resilient and huge those stumps are. That's a big rig!!
I had no idea operators got bounced around like that. Then I noticed how my body would also react to it by motion sickness both from the constant jerking around and also from the cab perspective of machine rotation.
How much does your excavator weight. I will be renting a 19,999 pound excavator in the early spring to remove some stumps left from 12 diameter trees at the biggest. Any suggestions ?
If Im pulling stumps with the mini excavator I like some of the trunk left for leverage. With a bigger machine it doesnt really matter. These stumps were huge. Thats a 42in bucket.
No Im not using the extra power button. And yeat I operate with my fingertips. Not sure why... haha. I dont like grabbing ahold of the controls with my whole hand.
you almost bought yourself a new front glass at :51 LOL
letsdig18 bold talk for a guy the took out the golf course sprinklers with a tree. LoL love both of y'all videos.
haha almost! I think it hit the cross bar!
Dallas Sigmon that's why they have people there to fix stuff
Love both you guys @letsdig18 and @dirtninja keep it up!
That machine is a monster the way it throws those stumps around, I just got a 35g it does good with 16 inch diameter tree stumps. Awesome video!

Yea they were some of the biggest stumps I have pulled with this machine.
nice! yank them stumps!
Love the videos bud keep up the good work
Thanks for watching!
Nice work
So what do you do with these stumps afterwards? Take them to a local landfill where they grind them up?
They get hauled to a wood recycling yard that grinds them up and turns them into mulch
yeah! I would say their were some pertty good size stumps.

Mine weighs 46,000. The machine you are renting will have no problem with those size stumps.
Thank you
Well there ya go...I plan to add a windshield to my mini...Thanks..!
If that rock was 1" higher or lower you wouldn't have stayed so calm. Looks like it hit the cross bar between the two windows. LOL. You were lucky.
haha yup!
You know how you used to do those sweet truck videos. Do one with the new bugger Deere?
You think it's better when they leave some tree truck for leverage or more of a pain in the ass in long run?

I would rather the whole tree be standing then when it's on the ground cut the stump off
what camera and mount do you use for your in cab shots ?
I have a GoPro hero 4 with a suction cup mount. Very easy to use!
ok i tried my suction cup and it won't hardly stick ill have to go back to the drawing board . thanks for the reply
Spend the money and get the GoPro one. It works really well.
Dig It!!!
are you hitting power button on left joystick? i also never noticed but you operate with your finger tips. that is not as common .
No Im not using the extra power button. And yeat I operate with my fingertips. Not sure why... haha. I dont like grabbing ahold of the controls with my whole hand.
easy on the glass :D
Could be a lot smoother operator.... Maybe it's a rental !
