On ASE my tribe mained on Extinction and we’d bring our mutated mantis with us to harvest the element veins. They worked great with an asc pick and the jump attack.
I'm running the upgrade station, so I've got a couple of high level Mantis with stupid level swords and they are hilarious. They make mincemeat out of everything.
Mantis main ussage is with an insane ascendant pick, you take it to Extention map on Element Veins to farm the Veign, THAT IS ALL to it... ( Sadly )... They have very low base hp which makes them not suitable for actual fighting... If you really wanted to make an op mantis, well thats doable with your breeding rates, won't take much time, but... you have to push that hp mutation really far along side a bit weight and a lot of mele.
Axe why don't you ask the boys to borrow some of their blueprints for weapons. Syntac borrowed evos 600% damage pistol blueprint. Maybe you should do the same and maybe see what other blueprints you can borrow
You guys should make refill stations along the track! I don't remember what they are called but I remember seeing them when I was a kid watching Thomas the tank engine lol.
Axeman have u ever tamed a Phoenix ive never seen one or tamed one 😂 would love to see u tame one maybe i can use your expert God abilities to get me one ❤❤❤❤ no one really tames them much anymore 🤔
Hey Axe love your videos don't forget you can use your Jerboa can carry items and reduce weight also if you carry your shovel you will always have water I think sometimes you forget just thought of reminding you. 😊
Honestly i hope that the rumors bout all the creatures and maps being added to ark mob is true since i CANT buy a pc Also love ya Axe!Keep up with being great^^
I would agree that resources respawning inside my track would be annoying and a headache. The problem with not fully compatible mods. They are structures, but not recognized by the game. The same could be seen inside your modified 😢houses during sandstorms. Nothing like all of the dust and tumbleweeds blowing through.
Do you all know how many tracks you have created and used so far? The enormity of this project between the four of you has been awesome. Hate to think what this would cost a single player.
Wildcard really screwed this creature up with not giving it any weight reductions all considering you need to have really good tames to be able to farm the horns to tame it ( so it is a semi mid to end game dino ) they should TLC it and give it maybe insane metal or obsidian weight reduction... Else I do not see the point of this creature being used on any map aside from Extention to farm element veigns :/
Axe. With a good club blueprint and an op saddle, your able to use a mantis to knock out a giga if you have mutations, mate boost and imprint bonus. They are both good for PvPvE with swords or clubs. Also if you don't have a cryopod you can grapple hook them and drag them around.

FYI: Can put a good pair of gloves on a mantis in the hand slot to put their armor thru the ROOF. level up melee and it can basically solo everything

I love the way your scaffolding looks on the train. If you find a nice club, the mantis is great at knocking things out.
You can put gauntlets on them for extra armor now or you could when scorched first dropped
