Enterprise, Eye in the Sky, the old Pirate Ship, Log Flume, Cannonball Express, Rattlesnake Coaster, PH Railway, Wave Swinger, Seal Show, Crinkly Bottom (lol!), Chairlift, Hoppla Hopp gallopers, Woody's Driving School (dodgems), Mini wheel, Veteran cars, Vertical slide, did I see the Turbo Star as well? So many memories from when I went there as a kid, I was 15 in 1996
So many memories! Crinkly Bottom, the miniature railways, eye-in-the-sky, Charlie Fumble (my Mum had a brief obsession with him!) Aladdin's Cave and the Sealion Show (looking back, I really hope those wonderful creatures are were well cared for!)
Yeah I remember Crinkly Bottom.. also I have vague memories of there being a BMX track there as well.. as well as a ride called the Enterprise and upside down pirate ship the Tempest
I believe that I see myself around 6 minutes and 43 seconds in! Thanks for the nostalgia and reminding me of all the amazing times I had here. I'm now 34 and I remember how I adored the park as a child ❤️
We went there a year later in 1997 while on holiday in Suffolk. So it would have been *exactly* like this. My own memories of it are so hazy however. All I can really remember is the sealion show *(is that still there?)* and Mr. Blobby (who we saw performing in the distance with the PH bear mascot-his name escapes me for the moment). I think Blobby being there at the time was a *big* factor for us going.
The sealion show is still there they now have a vekoma boomerang the rattle snake is now eggspress and many many changes have been made the park is now owned by the looping group
If they don't start investing in the place ,soon ,it won't be around much longer The cannonball run ,so old ,they can only run one car ,because they can't get any bits to repair the other car ,as the manufacturer no longer exists, The old dragon coaster ,remove the dragon ,stuck an egg on the front and call it something else , Never replaced the enterprise,or the eye in the sky , The main boomerang coaster ,which was old when they got it come from the now gone American adventure park , The pirate ship ,now looking like the Dutchman from pirates of the Caribbean,it's so old , The old blobby house thing not being used Just now a really depressing day for all the family
This place was our dream as kids, so glad to have been there. It's a shadow of this nowadays. "New lamps for old"
