YES!! I have been waiting for you to upload this one. This is one of the episodes where I knew one of the women (Tracy Richter) was going to end up on the show. I saw the *_Dateline_* episode where we got the entire story... which isn't at all different than the segment in this episode.
Melanie Smith should have gotten the death penalty...they gave her with the possibility of parole??? She had no remorse and premeditated it. That's disgusting and i can't believe that
Poor, poor innocents . In the second one, couldn’t they smash the windows or wasn’t there enough time. Too high perhaps. Easy to think when we’re not there in the panic. And the other dear babies, all the babies! Evil woman 🙏🙏🙏🙏👵🇦🇺
No they couldn’t as they didn’t open and were not up to fire regulations. The landlord was a fireman and was also sent to prison. This happened down the road from me and in the local park is a bench in memory of the children lost and parents.
It sounds like the building wasnt up to code. I cant imagine an apartment with only 1 exit. Even if the fire were accidental, the outcome wouldve still been the same because the building was a danger hazard.
How many women think marrying a Doctor, lawyer, etc will make them happy with a rich lifestyle. They don't realise these guys are at work 10-12+ hrs a day and with that comes a lonely marriage, and boredom kicks in and the money does not make them happy, so hence the affairs start etc etc etc. They created their own issue and the lack of communication between couples only adds to it. The average couple talks for 4 minutes per day....yep, you read that right.....4 minutes per day. What can be built on 4 minutes a day? Nothing.
At least Melanie Smith got 30 years to life. In Canada, where we are even more soft on crime, the worst she could've got is 25 to life (she would be considered for parole at 25 years). And in recent years the parole board has shown a 'rubber stamp approval' approach to granting parole to violent criminals. One man whose parents were murdered by a stalker who targeted his sister (she survived) moved his family out of Canada, to an undisclosed location, when the killer was given parole.
It’s sad that those people perish in that fire it broke my heart because the kids was so young n it was like why would u do something so cruel and evil to a family and 3 small kids 😢😢😢
I was a new mom to twins and had a son ten and a five year old! I guess the human race gets weaker as we progress into self centered righteous beings who have to be helped through even the most natural life moments!! Mental health is not important enough for us to address it, we'll have a vigil and wait for the next one💙
Always tickled when M William Phelps contributes to an episode. He’s witty & amusing & knowledgeable & BONUS he’s a cutie! But that’s really nothing compared to Candice. _NO ONE_ compares to her! 🤟🏻💕
Some neighbours, sigh... I lost my place were I lived for 19 years in 1 night, my new neighbour of 3 months accidentally burned his house down, that by smoke made my house unlivable. He had a sketchy heater and our houses were more then hundred years old... I still mis that place.
Even her own children found her beyond repulsive and evil. If only the young parents took her seriously:/ Reported her over the death threats. R.I.P. the young family and little cousin's.
I just want to know why and how none of those windows opened. What about air in the summer months, just letting in a little fresh air (I do, even in winter), and of course the safety factor. Were they painted shut?, nailed, use made that way (if so, again, why) but yea, I don't think I could or would have moved into a place where the windows wouldn't open. Never mind the safety issue. I like to be able to open them.
Honestly, if you hate your neighbors so much, why not just move? Also, should people as evil as Tracey Ann Richter, Melanie Smith, and Rhonda Wisto even be parents if they are that evil? I don't just mean mothers but fathers, too.
@@simmonssimmons4494 Old TV series from the early 90's I think. The lead character was convicted a few years ago of sexually abusing the youngest character who played his 9 year old daughter. Nudge was the older brothers characters best friend.

Sadly these dramatisations of real crimes make it more like some cartoonish, ironical, satirical events that is very hard to take seriously. The drama is so bad of an acting and so over the top it totally removes the reality of these true life events. It becomes a spectacle instead of something serious, horrible and real sad.
She should have been arrested for threatening to burn her neighbors house down. Clearly no one paid attention to her behavior.
The second story was heartbreaking. R.I.P
Yeah... I usually always love true crime but this 2nd story was almost unbearable for me. Imagine being those parents....

I love this show. Educates on how different n deceiving people can be. Different types of personalities.
I wonder if Melody got that piece she wanted. I thing for sure, she got cellmates who'll make her wish 🤞 she had that young family as neighbors

Thank you!❤

Exactly! She made me so mad! I would have taken the law into my own hands
We don't have the death penalty in the UK.
Still, I would have given her that penalty anyway if she were in the states
Just glad that people in TH-cam comments aren't judges🙈
Poor old Dustin. It's horrible what she did.
Thank u for the upload

Here, it is a statutory requirement that there must be a window in every room that can be opened

I was just thinking what kind of a numbskull builds an apartment with only one fire escape.
There is a free tracy Richter campaign
Which is absurd
That's worse than absurd, it's obscene!
Just seen the Facebook page and her son thinks she’s innocent
Anyone can be convinced with an emotional plea. Especially if they don’t look up what the monster did.
And those idiots should be jailed also.

2:49 M William Phelps: “She’s like the poster child for the NRA!!” 😂😂😂
That comment, Mr Phelps, was 😘👌
She had her Target nine times out of 11. Even the Creme de la creme like FBI agents don't do that.
I’m a nasty attitude person nothing can make me feel sad or bad but the story with the children that couldn’t get out from the fire that broke me😢😢
That's not really an attribute to brag about 😂
I'm more on the cynical and jaded side but I'm glad I can say I still have some compassion and empathy

Radiologists are also doctors. They have a MD degree.
No, they don't have to be MD. You can be a radiologist by taking Radiologic Technology Program or something similar.

I think a radiologist is a MD, and a radiologic technologist is someone who got their training from a radiology BS program.

the last story, Rhonda really had 4 men torture a 14 year old. Insane
