I started listening to Tyminski because I was considering buying tickets for my mom and stepdad to see Mountain Stage in Morgantown, WV and wanted to make sure they'd enjoy the performers scheduled for that event. Unexpectedly, I've found a new artist to listen to! I think she will really appreciate songs like "Southern Gothic" because she grew up in a small, southern town where everyone went to church on Sunday, but did all kinds of horrible things throughout the week. The same people that shared Communion with them on Sundays burned down their barn (and everything in it) because my grandfather hired a black man as a teacher and defended him when community members complained about it.
Where is the recognition for this album? I mean come on this is amazing!
