Very good ,had mine for many years, still tinkering to get it running smoothly. I think one of my problems is an air screw passage. It didn't have a screw installed when I purchased it,although it ran OK. Tried blowing it out and used a oxy tip cleaner to inspect for blockages so as it seemed clear I have installed a new air screw. The trouble is that it doesn't adjust as it suppose to .So I have purchased an other set of carburettors from France to see if that works. Will be good to see how the new ignition goes, have only heard good things. Ray part Townsville

I love me xlv sure it does not have power of me TDM I am sure that allen key is not standard, we moto in Bomaderry carry parts and can them get for you I have been down the Bonnang in vic and also did the Barry way and across to mackillops, it did let me down in Wang on the way to the Bonanzza with buggerd igniters and the NRMA classic insurance got me home with a hire care and trucked the bike back to home all for 80 dollars let me know what ignition you buy as it cost3 350 to have your altarnator and igniters rewound by George at Hill top and he is retiring soon so the the fella at Chiltern in Vic still does them for 500.

See if the stator has been done plus the ignition box.... main issue with these bikes both expensive to do
