@@julianc.6589 it is more a cover of Dilla than Herbie, with that bese line. Slum Village - Get Dis Money, although Herbie was Diillas sample source. Anyway, amazing stuff, Jazzbois and Yussef Dayes are my favorites. Also, please try Ebi Soda, Alfa Mist, Bokoya, Mammal Hands, Christian Scott, Badbadnotgood, Yoni Mayraz.
@@kosinda for sure, paying homage more with hip-hop here but amazing regardless. Check out Vels Trio, Athletic Progression and Dina Ogon. Great music coming out Europe these days.
The audio for the "Moon Rocks" single from this concert is great. I wish they'd release more of this show, if it's been professionally recorded. At least, the Azymuth covers, which aren't on their albums. Love these guys. Really looking forward to "Still Blunted." The first two singles are excellent.
At about 51:45 in I'm getting a Joe Sample vibe from his Ashes to Ashes album from particularly track 8 "Born to be Bad" th-cam.com/video/FiT9Uk1Qxoc/w-d-xo.html
This sound, this vibe, this energy and free flow of musical ideas. Pure bliss. Thank you deeply for sharing!
Real nice !
