I find it funny that Suzuran was classified to the archetype that usually does some DPS but is more of a debuff support. while Gnosis was classified to the archetype that usually debuffs but is more of a DPS/burst
One more thing to add is Gnosis is MVP in Stultifera Navis because he can freeze those enemies, disabling their dodge, allowing your DPS operators to kill them without miss. Of course, there are other ways to deal those enemies with high percent dodge. Freeze, bind, silence and stun help to prevent them from dodging your operators' attacks. Sleep also works but you need operators like Blemishine or Blacknight who can attack sleeping enemies without waking them up. You can also simply use Fartooth as she has talent that ignores enemies' dodge when attacking.
That's why I say there are other ways to deal with those enemies with dodge so you don't have to force yourself to pull for Gnosis. I do agree that Ling and Kal'tsit dominate SN event but who dares to gamble with RNG just to land a hit on those enemies with dodge? Gnosis just happens to make auto farm in stage SN-10 stable. Of course, Gnosis is optional in SN event. Heck, you can even use Jaye S1 to deal with those enemies with dodge by silencing them.
@@grumpyrex5123 Dodge wouldn't effect your auto farm tho as the rng for the stage is seeded meaning if they dodged in the initial clear, they are going to dodge in the sequential clears. It'll be the same results you get from the original clear and Gnosis won't make those clears any more stable as if u got all the hits the first time around, they are going to hit again for the proceeding clears.
My bad. I forgot Kal'tsit has True Damage on skill 3 and the enemies can't dodge True Damage. Kal'tsit is one of the best operators for SN event. The problem is I don't have Kal'tsit and I'll probably try to big brain with other units for SN-10 stage. Thankfully, the enemies are not immune to freeze, stun, silence and bind so Kal'tsit is optional. 😃
Gnosis' base skill makes Silverash + Cliffheart + E1 Jaye THE SINGLE HIGHEST PRODUCTION in the trading post now. It's tempting, but I must save for Goldenglow and Ling.

I was really considering to pull for -Michael Jackson- Gnosis, but since Ling banner is close and my pity isn't very high, i will have to skip him. Luckily he will get a rerun whereas Ling technically won't.

From a purely numerical standpoint, Shamare max pot S1M3 is the largest fragile that can be inflicted in the game, but only to enemies with less than 40% HP (and hardly anyone uses that skill as far as I'm aware). Super excited for Gnosis though, definitely shooting for P5 for him just for that extra 4%. S2 also looks like it can be used to set up some silly stalls.
He really carries me in Stultifera Navis, the boss stage is become so easy, cuz he can just perma froze it lol No regret pulling for him 10/10 I'm also able to get Ling and pot 4 Lee...
Thankfully I got him with a 10 permit that I already had also had enough gold cert to buy another one now with the one we all received because of the EN VAs I have 2 with the reset of the shop some more for normal permits are available aswell as some orundum and there is still the weeks to come to save for Ling even though I was pretty much broke if I get more lucky atleast I'll get 40 or 50 pulls when her banner comes.

so, i have 3 questions about him 1. How is his DPS compared to Angelina? 2. Should i pick him if it's for CC contents? 3. Which operators who work well with his fragile debuffs? Considering his fragile debuffs have quite short durations especially S2.

1st answer his dps sucks compared to angelina espiecelly s2 and s3 but he is burst orianted and angelina cant boost dps 2nd he isnt used in ccs so far He is a good unit but not insane or game breaking He is more used in IS stages wich really isnt much of an accomplishment 3rd ANY operator with high damage works well with his s3 But espiecelly arts operators because of the insane -15 res Surtr can easily get a 55% damage increase and ignore 35 res from enemies wich is another 35% damage increase So with a simple gnosis buff you are looking at a 70% damage increase buff from surtr and for all other casters/arts units
Fragile makes people take more damage, based on the damage they receive, so anyone with very high Damage output in the timeframe of his fragile affect is good with his Fragile effect. Stuff like chen or amiya S3 are good examples, or possibly tachanka S2 if the enemy has very low defence. Silverash on S3 is probably the best synergy though, because not only does the Fragile effect boost his damage, the slowing causes enemy's to clump up, so the maximum number of enemy's are getting hit, meaning the total damage boost from Fragile is absurdly high. For CC content, it's possible to fit him into your strategys, as the Fragile effect helps deal with increased HP/decreased damage risks, the slowing and freezing allows you to stall for skills, and his DPS is acceptable, but he's not the best at any of those roles, so it may be worth using a specialist slower or Fragiler rather than him. He's a supporter, as is Angelina IIRC, so you should really be considering utility rather than DPS, unlike if he were a guard or dedicated caster, where DPS is the primary thing you care about.
@@Santisima_Trinidad problem is that defense debuff matters more to physical units than fragile actually so he is WAY better paired with arts than physical such as silverash For CCs he is hard to use because suzuran and ifrit has more utility And Angelina debate has been talked before
@@kyarumomochi5146 depends on the defence of the enemy really. With tachanka, very much yes, unless it's a slug or something like that, because his damage per shot is so low that bassically every enemy worth debuffing has enough defence to make him deal poo poo damage, so fragile is just a tiny bit more, defence debuff is massive. With a silverash S3, you need to lower the enemy's defence by more than 46% (or whatever the fragile effect is) of the damage he does to them when they are at full defence. I don't have silverash damage numbers memorised, so i can't tell you where exactly a defence debuff (I'd base it on 50% debuff for no reason other than it looking nice) is better than a fragile effect, but the maths wouldn't be too difficult. That all being said, a multi target caster would also synergise with gnosis as well or better than silverash, depending on the damage they output and how many people can be targeted at once, assuming we are going by total increased damage rather than increase damage onto any single target.
This guy pretty much broke the event for me lmao. His S3 was an instant win when enemies are on the ice tiles. Up to EX7CM he made every stage a near mindless first attempt clear. I only really wanted aurora but I sure am glad I got him as well

Having easily a Kjera full potential with the event, and gatcha Gnosis, I wonder, does they works so well together that I imagine it? I mean, Kjera second skill apply cold effect and consistant art damage: she should be very effectif in the Gnosis zone of effect
Me after rolling 297x during Skadi Alter, 156 on Chen Alter, and 178 on NTR... my answers is NO. I have major trust issues with my luck so I'll just save up on limited ops banner cuz I also get a shit ton of off-banner pulls there to the point that I am only missing 3 6* ops. Passenger, Carnelian, and Archetto.
i think skill 3 would work well for a timed attack like froze an enemy before deploying chen/ specialist that does huge amount of damage ina single skill attack

@@kyarumomochi5146 I think you are looking at it incorrectly, rather than the event itself you should give your attention at what enemies present in the event does. In Stultifera Navi's case, it's the enemy dodge, which means everytime a dodge theme or stage is present, gnosis will really shine. (Dodge enemies isn't even that rare) Also, gnosis is already good regardless of what event, it's just worth mentioning that he would be even better at some events
When I figured he was just the saintess on steroids and nothing I couldn't get from the other 5 hexers I have. Still nice to see some cool male characters in the 6* lineup(fairly sure most of them are female).
I'd roll 10 and if I get him then yay if not then not a big deal his not a limited so him spooking you in a different banner has high chance so all good, do note Doktah that Ling banner is close so I'd save my rolls on that one.
GUYYSSS I FOUND SOMETHING OUT.Dont know if its known buttt.....Gnosis frozen (Dont know other just Gnosis) can boost someones dmg right? Well when i got to some twillight wolumond stages ,the towers.We know that they take 5 % of the enemies health right? Well when I did the stage and one of the Tower atacked one of this stone golems they did more dmg.I saw a red number something with 6k dmg.So not only does he increase someones dmg no he also increases the dmg of this tower!!!From the twillight wolumond towers!!!
Guess I’ll pass this banner, the bigger fish Ling is approaching, besides need to save pulls not only on her but Fiammetta as well I’ll wait for the rerun as it was with Mountain. Maybe throw 10 pulls, but it will be enough
since gnosis cold duration is 1 second, he needs to attack faster than that to be able to freeze enemies with regular autoattacks. doing rough calculations, i found that ayerscarpe and saileach e2 without potentials brings gnosis' attack interval from 1.6 to 1.28 which isn't enough adding in angelina without potentials brings the interval to 1.168 which still isn't enough I think you'll need Aak shenanigans in order to make it work which by extension needs heavy def buffers like nian and shining since gnosis is a high ground low def operator. at that point you'll be taking too many operator slots imo for it to be worth bringing and since its reliant on nian, shining, and aak skill cooldowns it won't have good uptime either.

It’s always an easy yes for female operators. But for male operators you always hesitate to say yes.
Finally I can have them all - Passenger, Skalter and Gnosis.

He is a good unit but not insane or game breaking
He is more used in IS stages wich really isnt much of an accomplishment
3rd ANY operator with high damage works well with his s3
But espiecelly arts operators because of the insane -15 res
Surtr can easily get a 55% damage increase and ignore 35 res from enemies wich is another 35% damage increase
So with a simple gnosis buff you are looking at a 70% damage increase buff from surtr and for all other casters/arts units
Fragile makes people take more damage, based on the damage they receive, so anyone with very high Damage output in the timeframe of his fragile affect is good with his Fragile effect. Stuff like chen or amiya S3 are good examples, or possibly tachanka S2 if the enemy has very low defence. Silverash on S3 is probably the best synergy though, because not only does the Fragile effect boost his damage, the slowing causes enemy's to clump up, so the maximum number of enemy's are getting hit, meaning the total damage boost from Fragile is absurdly high.
For CC content, it's possible to fit him into your strategys, as the Fragile effect helps deal with increased HP/decreased damage risks, the slowing and freezing allows you to stall for skills, and his DPS is acceptable, but he's not the best at any of those roles, so it may be worth using a specialist slower or Fragiler rather than him.
He's a supporter, as is Angelina IIRC, so you should really be considering utility rather than DPS, unlike if he were a guard or dedicated caster, where DPS is the primary thing you care about.
@@Santisima_Trinidad problem is that defense debuff matters more to physical units than fragile actually so he is WAY better paired with arts than physical such as silverash
For CCs he is hard to use because suzuran and ifrit has more utility

@@kyarumomochi5146 depends on the defence of the enemy really. With tachanka, very much yes, unless it's a slug or something like that, because his damage per shot is so low that bassically every enemy worth debuffing has enough defence to make him deal poo poo damage, so fragile is just a tiny bit more, defence debuff is massive. With a silverash S3, you need to lower the enemy's defence by more than 46% (or whatever the fragile effect is) of the damage he does to them when they are at full defence. I don't have silverash damage numbers memorised, so i can't tell you where exactly a defence debuff (I'd base it on 50% debuff for no reason other than it looking nice) is better than a fragile effect, but the maths wouldn't be too difficult.
That all being said, a multi target caster would also synergise with gnosis as well or better than silverash, depending on the damage they output and how many people can be targeted at once, assuming we are going by total increased damage rather than increase damage onto any single target.
This guy pretty much broke the event for me lmao. His S3 was an instant win when enemies are on the ice tiles. Up to EX7CM he made every stage a near mindless first attempt clear.
I only really wanted aurora but I sure am glad I got him as well

Having easily a Kjera full potential with the event, and gatcha Gnosis, I wonder, does they works so well together that I imagine it? I mean, Kjera second skill apply cold effect and consistant art damage: she should be very effectif in the Gnosis zone of effect

I have major trust issues with my luck so I'll just save up on limited ops banner cuz I also get a shit ton of off-banner pulls there to the point that I am only missing 3 6* ops. Passenger, Carnelian, and Archetto.
Mean while my off banners are the ones you're missing, I have pot 2 Passenger and pot 2 Carnelian, fuck those two.

i think skill 3 would work well for a timed attack like froze an enemy before deploying chen/ specialist that does huge amount of damage ina single skill attack

I think you are looking at it incorrectly, rather than the event itself you should give your attention at what enemies present in the event does. In Stultifera Navi's case, it's the enemy dodge, which means everytime a dodge theme or stage is present, gnosis will really shine. (Dodge enemies isn't even that rare)
Also, gnosis is already good regardless of what event, it's just worth mentioning that he would be even better at some events
When I figured he was just the saintess on steroids and nothing I couldn't get from the other 5 hexers I have. Still nice to see some cool male characters in the 6* lineup(fairly sure most of them are female).
I'd roll 10 and if I get him then yay if not then not a big deal his not a limited so him spooking you in a different banner has high chance so all good, do note Doktah that Ling banner is close so I'd save my rolls on that one.

GUYYSSS I FOUND SOMETHING OUT.Dont know if its known buttt.....Gnosis frozen (Dont know other just Gnosis) can boost someones dmg right? Well when i got to some twillight wolumond stages ,the towers.We know that they take 5 % of the enemies health right? Well when I did the stage and one of the Tower atacked one of this stone golems they did more dmg.I saw a red number something with 6k dmg.So not only does he increase someones dmg no he also increases the dmg of this tower!!!From the twillight wolumond towers!!!

I don't think that will be enough 🤔
You'll need other operators or special items for him to be able Freeze the enemy with his normal attack
since gnosis cold duration is 1 second, he needs to attack faster than that to be able to freeze enemies with regular autoattacks.
doing rough calculations, i found that ayerscarpe and saileach e2 without potentials brings gnosis' attack interval from 1.6 to 1.28 which isn't enough
adding in angelina without potentials brings the interval to 1.168 which still isn't enough
I think you'll need Aak shenanigans in order to make it work which by extension needs heavy def buffers like nian and shining since gnosis is a high ground low def operator.
at that point you'll be taking too many operator slots imo for it to be worth bringing and since its reliant on nian, shining, and aak skill cooldowns it won't have good uptime either.
Rather than having to focus on bringing multiple ASPD buffers I'd rather pair him with Kjera/Aurora for the freeze. They synergize well too.
