Please, please, please try this pedal together with the afterneath. That's what I'm hoping on trying in the future. I feel they'd compliment each other extremely well.
DomSchu it just doesn't excite me. I know it's weird. I did buy the digitech one a few months back because that sounded nice to me. Tape effect ones are good.
This could be a smaller size replacement for my Timeline. I was disappointed with the first tap tempo of the Wampler delay (too much hiss / background noise) and also disappointed with the Way Huge Super Puss. The Timeline is super, but a big box and I hardly ever use other sounds than the tape delay.
Oh man. I really like my MXR Carbon Copy. It's hands-down better than an awkward digital delay, and there is *definitely* something to say for simplicity. But these echoplex-type tape emulators are so lush and musical.

Let's take like "Bring on the night" - there's a pick but how smoothly he gets the pick under his "i-finger"!! I also do like playing with fingers but i have long fingernails ('because of "thee-must-playing w/"nylon string) so.. So here's the question: Doesn't your index finger bleed at all!?!

I saw them play a pub/bar in Bristol, UK, in 2000 before they'd even released an album. Pretty decent. Not a fan nowadays.

I wish my wampler delay was that quiet on higher delay settings. Love the pedal but it does get very hissy on the repeats at higher settings.
It's the quarter-note setting that's a real drag noise-wise. Disappointing, because other time divisions are really tasty.
@@ue4058 I canned that delay for a volante 2 years ago. Haven't regretted that one single bit.

Ferdi Welslau The dunlop echoplex is a really cool option as well if that's what your looking for. It has an external tap tempo if I'm not mistaken.

Nah Andy doesn't use picks at all, he'd have mad calluses. He's just pinching his thumb and index finger together like theres a pick there.
