Scooter kids take over the mini ramp at my local skatepark and I can only hit it if its like 8 or 9am haha
There is a lot of mean people at the skate park i go to

@@4khdscenepacks559 tell someone(maby an older friend or you dad or someone) to hold your hands so you can get the hang of it and save your teeth from falling off your mouth... when they hold your hands it really reduces the fall... it really feells like nothing lol

Ugh, I literally have to start with a 6.5 ft quarter pipe and a 8ft ramp, oh the joys of cheap skateparks
And the quarter pipe is 20% vert, so it scares the crap of me

+Toru Learn how to drop in and just do a bunch of kick turns and what not on it. That's a pretty decent height to start off with so don't try force too much. I wouldn't try the 8 ft till you can drop in every time on the 6.5 ft. But dropping in is one of those things that if you have it, you have it basically forever. Only thing stopping you from dropping in on something bigger is your own mind. But get super comfortable on your board before you attempt to rock to fakie on 6.5 ft lol..

Ive only been riding for 4 days and finally got the rock to fakie but my right knee is skinned up and bruised, my right elbow is the same way and my entire body is hurting but i really love it and im going back to the park today✌

When I first tried a drop in, I was able to normally shift my weight easily, but when I got to the ramp, I just forgot all of my practice. I can do it now, but it was scary.
To this day I have not found another 30 something skateboarder that has contributed more to helping grommets. Far and away you are using the informative aspects of youtube to the fullest (more than anybody else) to teach the skating masses. That's why I feel you deserve the most success with your internet business. You offer a tremendous tutorial value that nobody else can compete with. You da Man Aaron.

Guys I just got SMS Vol. 1 and watched it once and went outside. I only knew ollie, fs 180 and shuvit. I tried to do kickflip, i dont know how but i actually land treflip. Im not joking. I swear I landed a treflip. Everybody should buy this its the most comprehensive video aaron kyro made. And it teaches skateboarding better than anything out there. You won't be disappointed. I bought it, tried it, and it works. Its like magic. BUY IT!

what i really admire about Aaron is how humble he is with his talent for skateboarding he's willing to help others progress and takes time explaining it very well. It's cool to have skateboarders like this out there I myself am very talented at skateboarding and always do my best to help others. YOU GO AARON!
I'm 32, haven't skated in 14 years. Found a skatepark nearby with a nice mini ramp. I randomly got the urge to try it and it's so much fun even tho all I can do is pump and kickturn so far. Thank you for your tips. The rock to fakie is my next goal.

I don't have rock to fakies or tail stalls, but you can still learn kick turns which leads into axle stalls, smith grinds, feebles, disasters and 5-0's. I think i did this because I started on a five foot ramp and repeatedly fell just trying to rock to fakie. I can back smith a 9 foot bowl yet I can't rock to fakie on a three foot mini ramp.
I love vert skating but unfortunately I have not been able to experience a mini ramp. I think it would be a lot of fun going from half pipes to something smaller, plus there are some tricks like the tail stall I have not gotten yet.
I can drop in, I can pump, but I always eat it when I hit the coping lol.
That was my problem when i was a kid and first learned to skate could drop in but had no tricks to keep it going lol got my rock to fakies and tail stalls then it all came together
I just dropped in on a qp for the first time in 5 years yesterday. My legs were shaking like crazy, but I got it first try! I guess that muscle memory came back super quick lol

Okay, so I can go down the ramp but the real problem is once I go up the other ramp, I switch orientation to traditional foot (I'm a goofy foot). Should I take time to learn how to skate the other way first?
Did my first rock to fakie today, whe I tried t on do it again I fell on my face cracked my jawbone split my whole chin and had to get 5 stitches open chipped 2 teeth and here we are

i cant even go up a ramp yet. its so frustrating. was at the skatepark today and its too advanced for me (we were just trying a new park i hadn’t been to just to see) i went down fine (it also wasn’t a mini ramp like in this tutorial) but going up the other side i fell and hurt my wrist (super minor tho, doesn’t even hurt anymore). skating also sucked today cuz it was cold out, i had a runny nose (just recovering from being sick for a week), and a sprained ankle so i was pretty much running on motrin and caffeine. it also felt like everyone was staring at me cuz i was the only one wearing a helmet and i sucked at skating. i’ll keep going, though. i’m determined to learn.

i skated flat ground and parks for 8 years. Its been about 3 years since I've skated. My last trick was a hardflip. I'm seriously missing skateboarding ,
I feel axle stalls are a bit easier to learn as a beginner as your momentum stays forward and to go backwards and tail stall you need to be comfortable skating switch

Once i sprained my Ankle rolling down a hill with cuts all over, and a month of recovery, rock to fakie don't seem so bad to learn.

I found fakie rock to regular or whatever that would be called is easier than a regular one for me I’m still trying to learn tail stalls and get rock to fakies down without bailing

I made a mini ramp in my backyard with my dad yesterday it is a 3 foot high the ramp is a 93 degree angel but deep and a 2 foot inning between the ramps and that is my backyard mini ramp
I wonder if you have to learn all sms videos in order, or can you learn sms 1 and then sms 3 and skip sms 2 and learn it later?
today learned to drop in on quite aa small and basic quarter pipe but still and the thing is yesterday I learned to ride a really big flat bank

my mini ramp is 6 feet and all you need to know is to drop in and crouch
because if you don't crouch you are gonna go in rock to fakie accidentally and after that die pretty much also tail stall is really hard on our ramp but you can hit some good shit if you air out
once a guy did a air out 540 and he no joke looked like he was tony hawk
