    This animation-comparison is incredible, Prehistoric Planet 2 was epic just like the previous season, I like how many of the dinosaurs apart from the sauropods have sizes that rival current animals very well, that shows how realistic these creatures look from the past with their commensurate sizes, not like the huge beasts from the JP/W franchise...A Grizzly Bear or an African Elephant don't look small at all with most of the animals seen in the video, we can see how an African Elephant gets It would look quite big next to a T-rex, although I have an observation, the Tyrannosaurus in comparison looks small, it is about 3-3.5 meters high when in reality it should be 4 or 4.5 at most, meters high height, anyway, it is incredible to see how a group of current African Elephants could scare away all the terrestrial predators in Prehistoric Planet 2 thanks to their size and social capacity, if a T-rex measures 4m in height, 13m in long, weighs 8 tons and a current African Elephant reaches 3.5 m in height, 6 m in length and 6 tons in weight we can see how the difference in size is not very high and how 3 African Elephants would surpass the Tyrannosaurus in brute force numeric.

    • @docu-menter2702
      @docu-menter2702 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Considering how smart elephants are, i'll bet a two or three adult could fend off one hungry T-Rex very easily.
      In term of the comparison of the body ratio between prehistoric vs modern animals tho, i think the tails of these dinosaurs would make them win the day. Because it's simply help them looks a lot bigger and more intimidating in the eyes of our modern large land mammals.

    • @angelalcivar9354
      @angelalcivar9354 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's obvious bro, the tail in dinosaurs is what gives them that great length in many species, that's why very few current animals (and those very few can be marine) exceed in length or size in general the most famous dinosaurs That is why dinosaurs are the most incredible creatures that have ever walked the Earth, not only because of their large size in some species but also because they are reptiles, and reptiles are creatures that fascinate because of their anatomy.
