Aldo is a close 2nd. Many of his defenses were against nobodies, and the 13 second ko too.

Lot of disrespect for José Aldo. He is still the greatest featherweight. Seven title defenses, which are basically nine because he was the WEC champion before the merger. Aldo is 1, Volk is 2 and Holloway is 3 in the all-time featherweight rankings.

Well, Volk lost to Topuria now, who's basically a no name fighter on paper, so mma math is pure nonsense. The people Aldo fought at the time were the best of the best at that time. He also dominated in the WEC which was the champion's league for BW and FW and the way he did it was beautiful. That double knee for example! Most people suffer from recency bias unfortunately. But everybody is entitled to their opinion and mine is that Aldo is still the best to have ever done it at FW.
