Sometimes Nick grinds my gears for no reason but at the start when he “couldn’t get out of his own half” he made horrible decisions left and right, and Pedro’s miss was his aim on the sticks

the constant pressure ruins gameplay. It is just shit. less skilled players will win for this reason alone. if you refuse to play that way it makes it hard to win or more so enjoy the game.

It's actually really hard to defend against this press if the gameplay is not perfect. It doesn't matter if you are a good player because your player taking forever to take a touch limits your options and shortens the time you need to make a decision. But I agree that he complains too much when things aren't going his way.

Do you use manual on through balls? I have it on semi but soooo often the pass is horrible or the attacker turns around to take a touch rather than let it through and run onto it.

This game just has a weird feeling to it. Some games you can just feel the game doesn’t want you to win. Your players don’t make runs, the passing is not as precise, defense feels off, you can’t even switch to the players you want idk how lol. I feel like most games are scripted. I’ve played like 1k FUT games this year and trust me I can tell when some animations feel off just that one time the game just doesn’t want you to win.
And the most obvious one is.. I’ve played the same guy two times in a row. if I win the first game, he gets all the animations on his favor the second game and beats you. If he wins the first game, now your players feel incredible in the second game lol. Why is it like that??? In a mode where you need a bunch of back to back wins and trying to get 20-0 in fut champs.. why is the game so controllable by the algorithm and its animations? The game literally controls who wins bro. Because at this point most players are good and there’s no casuals.. everything depends on the animations that the game wants you to have. Games feel awfully scripted. Shouldn’t be like that.

Problem with fifa is that you dont get punished for abusing pressure tactics. Make stamina drain 100%more while using any pressure. All this stupid patches to make pressure less effective were useless. Ppl still use it, still abuse it. I griddy every 1st minute pressure abusers idc 😂 they deserved it
i mean nick is really weird tho, the first half nick didnt had 1 single shot in the first game. got dominated, guy didnt score all of his chances so he was only 1-0 up. then in the second half nick thinks he is better because he gets chances
@@SamanthaDutchy maybe, but most of these chances were after pressure after possesion lost, so its not really the guy who was good, its just Nick who was rushing to leave his penalty box or his half. You need to be patient when you get pressured by this type of pressure tactic, but Nick wasnt, so he got caught
But without it you will not punish the players who hold the ball for 80 minutes passing around the back.
You need pressing tactics to counter that style. And if pressing is too negative, then people will pass round the back to drain stamina and then pace abuse.
@@benhayes5396 if you cant find balance - you are bad at making video games. Online gaming is all about balance. If everyone abuse 1 tactic you should nerf it or at least create something to counter it. So far 35% more stamina drain doesnt work at all. I still play constant or pressure after possesion loss players who have half of stamina bar at 90th min, it shouldnt be like this. Im not taking about completely nerfing pressure, im taking about making it balanced so players cant abuse it since 1st minute
@@jacknorice5212 there is always going to be a meta, name one competitive game that doesn’t have a strong/op gun, tactic, playstyle etc.
Sadly it is impossible to get a perfect balance, particularly in a game like fifa that has a player base that have played for at least 4+ years and therefore are at a games natural skill ceiling.
The sad fact is Fifa has been around too long, the average player now will have at least 1K+ hours across titles and therefore the average skill is incredibly high. So when people want to win they have to turn to what is strong in this cycle.
Same thing happened to COD, Battlefield, Fortnite, even less competitive games such as DBD suffer the same issues.
I guess im not the only one who have faced only demons lately. Like ive been to elite and now every div 2 games feels like elite only mode what is somewhat ”casual” is champs.

20-0 is nothing tbh. i am not the best player at 600, but champs is super easy for me.

I think the friendly modes are skill based matching because I am pretty bad and I lose my games in the cup in the last minute of extra time.
I've noticed the press abuse at an all time high. I'm normally in div 1 the 1st week out of the season and now I can't get out of 3 and it's been how long..? They have to nerf press its too OP.

Right now champs is the only semi chill mode we have in this game and I fear that will change with tots. You'll either play someone cracked or someone who's worse but gets bailed out by his five back formation.

The only way to counter this is to never play rivals. Just champs and friendlies, rivals rewards are not worth anyway.
bro I don't play fut champs and barely even rivals but I consider myself a pretty decent player and I went 10-3 in the birthday cup and won pretty much every game easily. it was the weirdest thing , I expected the sweat of all sweat and it was a breeze lol.
that’s cause you are probably at a low rank in rivals therefore you get matched with your skill base therefore you probably play shitty players

because of SBMM i stay in Div 4/5. So it´s much more relaxing and entertaining. Best Div was 3 close to 2. So not the best player but i play the game for fun :)
This was actually really good for me because I have 1 squad left on Nkunku and once I finish him I’m gonna make a new squad which will probably have hincapie in it and I’m tossing up between inform Frimpong and Meunier but I’ve done the showdown because of the upgrade and he could be a decent sub if a defender gets injured
tried both meunier and russillon alongside hincapie and nkunku their both solid before the upgrades, but i fell like meunier should be clear witha +2 5*5*

I'm in div. 4 and cannot finish the 1st owner fiesta. It's the sweatiest game mode in fifa 23. So many good players chilling in lower divisions just to dominate average players like me. The overall game limit adds to this shitshow. In addition there is a good amount of dda present too, my toty VDS turns into a 60 rated gk.

I went from elite to div 6 just to have fun with non meta squads and dont stress in friendly cups. I actually started to enjoy fifa since this move. Sometimes it doesnt help though, I kept facing elite div players (I asked them in pm after match) I guess matchmaking couldnt find any other opponent. But yeah, ive noticed many top div players chilling in lower divs with their meta mbappe jair Al pace squads 😂
Is nkunku worth it, I have a ton of French players and I'm trying to get mbappe.

Just to vent. I did the 87+ pp with 15 tokens on the companion app. One pick was 91 FUT B’DAY Marquinhos. It said I already had him. I exited the app. Went back in and looked through my club. I had the loan version. I quick sold the loan version. I went back into the pick and Marquinhos was gone. Instead there was a 88 Allí. Don’t make my mistake 😢

nick in champs it worse when you at lower levels. All the players dont have the skills so all they do is use constant pressure and it sucks to play against. The gameplay becomes shit.
