I don't like this man at all. How can he really justify taking roles that may have been for a Black American actor. I know so many Black American male actors that could have portrayed MLK in Selma and Bass Reeves. It's hard enough for us as a race in this country to struggle and then you have these Black Brits and other black foreigner actors taking good quality roles from our actors/actresses. And now this man is scheduled to play ANOTHER famous and legendary Black American , Sugar Ray Robinson! Enough is enough!
But Morgan Freeman, played Nelson Mandela in "Evictus," and Denzel Washington played "Steve Biko," a South African anti apartheid activist, in the film, "Cry Freedom." Americans, black Americans have played roles in movies depicting Africans and you have a problem with an African given the part to play an American!?

Americans have been playing everyone else for decades, even historically non-White people such as Moses and Nefertiti have been white-washed and played by you. But now that it’s not all going your way and r^cist casting is being eradicated, you are complaining? Wouldn’t it be r^cist to give roles based on people’s ethnicity or nationality? What a ‘rational’ reason to dislike someone whom you don’t even know. “Us as a race,” “these Black Brits,” “other black foreigner actors,” sounds like the divisive ideologies of your colonisers have really taken root. You clearly see Black people as separate groups the way they do.
