Thank you to all the Neuro Surgeons and the one who fixed my unruptured brain aneurysm with stent placement and coiling. He saved my life 🙏

Former neuro ICU and surg/med/trauma ICU/ER-- RN here. Thanks for emphasizing more training for healthcare professionals. It's needed big time! I came on shift one time getting report with the nurse telling me the ICP was 26 and she got blood cultures through the night for a fever. I ran and opened the ventric and I was like OMG the patient is herniating, he's not septic! Paging neurosurg, grabbing Mannitol, breaking it to the neurosurg what was going on....I was like OMG seriously! Please insist on more neurosurg education for doctors and nurses!!! It is desperately needed!

I have 5 aneurysms, all clipped.

Was your clipping done all in one surgery? I have four and recently had two of the four clipped by pterional craniotomy.
