Merry christmas Morph. Last time i cried was wednesday last week when a coworker of mine got me a christmas survival kit. After losing my family 8 years ago i have struggled a lot at christmas and it never really got better. As she k ows i spend it alone she got me some treats for me and my cat to try and make the day a bit better. I sobbed when she handed me it. Such a thoughtful gift. I may not have my son or family anymore but there are people out there that care and i forget that sometimes. She is a kind soul. Merry christmas folks, hope you all have a good day no matter how or with whom you spend it.
I've used a magnifying glass to see very small print, then over the last few years I started using the camera on my phone to zoom in and see it...a newfangled kind of magnifying glass that is smaller and easier to carry, even better! 😀 I had a crush on Ryan Gosling when he was in Young Hercules back in 1998...I was in my late teens. Anyone else know about that tv show? It was actually a very good show but I say that because I love fantasy and adventure not because Ryan was in it😉 What made me cry recently is the movie Belle (currently on Max, Amazon Prime and Apple TV just a heads up) it's so beautiful and poignant, I won't give anything away but I will say this if it doesn't move you to tears, tear out your heart and then make you smile like you haven't in a good while rewatch it. Also in 2022 about this time of year, I played What Remains of Edith Finch in about four days, I took it slow, even though the game is beautiful, the house and the surrounding land...the story is heartbreaking...I ended that game so depressed and I will never play it again, cant say however that I don't reccommend at least one playthrough for others who are interested in playing it.

I connect with you so much about how you get immersed and emotional when you’re watching/reading something sad because that’s been ME my whole life and I’ve also always believed that it’s good to cry. It lets out that emotional stress that you’ve been bottling and I always feel better after a good cry. My family has always looked at me like I was a little weird for getting so invested in fictional characters. I’ve always told them even if it’s not real to us. It’s real in the story, so it matters.
Awww very true! I actually had a fascination with magnifying glasses when I was younger and I would collect them from antique shops. I have this large antique silver one that looks very Victorian, I have one that is gold with a beautiful butterfly on it, and I have a really cool one with an antler as the handle! But they’re helpful when I paint my dnd minis! Also I have been so excited for this game it’s been on my wishlist for ever!!

Im autistic so if people get things that arent on my list or like completely ignore my list im like hurt because it feel like they didnt care enough to respect what i wanted despite knowing exactly waht i wanted. Like im not a complicated person get a cheap dollar tree stuffed animal and ill love you but get me some random mug and ill genuinely think you dont care because i dont use mugs and am afraid of dropping glass. For this xmas i asked my mom, sister, and sisters fiance for and i qoute "a 6pack of the cheap Walgreens cupcakes, a small thing of strawberry ice cream, and a small thing of chocolate icecream, NO neopoltain is not valid as vanilla will ruin the other flavors, thank you!" XD like just a cheap gift from each of them. And all have aggreed but the reason im so specific is because many time peolle have tried a short cut that in the end causes more problems. Like even my great aunt got me a mcdonald's gift card and compression socks and i was like "i-...i fucking love you" 😢 just gimme food pls

Idk if I'm autistic but it reminds me of my mom and how I have my Pinterest which she also has one and she follows it (my pinterest has a lot of things that i like/want/etc.) and I mention it every time she asks me what gifts I want/like/etc and she never bothers to even look at it. I LOVE to research and help people with finding online resources to find whatever information they need/want so I really feel completely disregarded and disrespected when she doesn't even take the time to scroll through even a little bit. My love Language is taking my own personal time to help research. The fact that no one does the same for me or bare minimum WITH me. Like....I have so many words and none of them are good.

Once when I was a kid I was playing with a magnifying glass and burning holes in leaves and stuff and I burned an ant out of an impulsive curiosity but I stopped really quickly because I felt sooooo bad 😣 I always spare ants and little Beatles and non poisonous spiders and things when I can. I must atone for my sins 🙏😢
We have been doing secret Santa for the last 5 years or so in my family and it has been very fun! We do a poem with our gift and it makes the gifting more personal and fun.

My “thing” that people always get me for Christmas is anything Lilo and Stitch related. This Christmas, for example, I got Stitch pjs, a Stitch hoodie blanket, and a stitch plushie. Tbf, I like Stitch, but I’m drowning in the Stitch merch that I get every birthday and Christmas haha
I would love to see you play Cattails. It’s basically a game where you play as a cat living in the wild. I played it trough a few times and absolutely love the art style. Totally recommend! (There’s romance btw😉)
It's so funny that you used elephants for your example when you were talking about people buying you "that thing you mentioned you were interested in" in all forms and sizes because my grandma loved elephants? So everyone and I mean EVERYONE got her elephant themed things. Expensive decorations and cheap ones, tea towels, scarfs, you name it. I remember it as being her favorite thing but at some point she banned anyone from getting her anything elephant related and I'm now wondering if my childhood memory is actually based on how people were always getting her elephants as opposed to her actually loving them that much. I actually don't even remember her talking about elephants once 😂

My mom started to use a magnifying glass to read when she reached early 60s, and yes, as you said, the glass was mine as a school necessity, and after graduation for almost 20 years it was untouched until my mom started using it again 😂 She uses it to hasten her reading speed, since even with a reading glasses some small texts like the bible, fine print on legal papers, etc are just too slow to be read without the help of the magnifying glass. As far as I know, she's far sighted without cylinder.
If you're looking for sad but cute and emotionally impactful games, Omori will absolutely wreck you. It's currently my favorite of all time, and I've never cried so much about a game.
Its Christmas day for me right now as I watch this, I have never really liked Christmas a lot, but I think that just happens when you have a birthday that is during the last week leading ip to christmas. Im home sick today so I am going to be missing out on christmas supper with the family. I think what I always lookforward to in my Christmas Gifts is PJ’s and a book or game. I dont particularly like to give gifts because its a bit stressful, but this year I made everyone little notebooks and got them each a book that I hope they will enjoy. A little tip on Christmas trees from someone with two cats. You absolutely can have christmas tree, you just need to tie it to a shelf or something. I use colorful feathers and cat toys for decorations. Its prety safe and cats love it. It can be fun and it adds to a Christmas vibe. :) Merry Christmas everyone..

I'm 100% with you. Pretty much everything makes me cry. I can tell a movie is really bad (like REALLY bad, because pretty much all of the movies I like are bad) if it doesn't make me cry; I'm a sucker for a hopeful storyline or a happy ending most of all, but sad things make me cry too... Sometimes all it takes is a good film score (I cry literally every time I hear "Concerning Hobbits" from LotR lmao) and I'm done. I kind of like that I'm that way though?? Like... not enough people are in touch with their emotions lol. i haven't cry for years too, you know.. but last year in August (3 days after my mum's birthday) i shed so many tears because my big sister passed away.. it broke me a lot and i haven't even recovered until now. to know that my mum was just feeling happy "a bit" for having a birthday dinner.. she couldn't stop worrying about my big sis illness (my sis lived far away from us and we were about to visit her on monday but she passed away the day before).. but then 3 days after we had to hear the bad news in the middle of the night, it's so heartbreaking.. i kept thinking about her and sometimes i felt i don't want anthing anymore, i just kept sinking.. and to think that my mum might feel a lot much worse than how i feel.. ..and her birthday was on Dec 25.. now every Christmas will keep remind us of her, more than ever..

My "thing" comes from when me and a friend at uni got matching 'uni'corn tattoos as a bit of a silly joke when we were 18... now everyone thinks I have this obsession with unicorns 🤦🏼♀️😂 it was a good few years ago now and happened before this whole unicorn consumerism frenzy came about but now every birthday and Christmas I'm guaranteed to get at least one unicorn related present 🦄😅

They always have these special ads during Christmas, like for charities and stuff, so they've gotten too good at making them.. There was this really short segment of a little boy and his mother sitting on a sofa, mother has a jacket on and she just gives the kinda look only moms can give you and hold out her hand, no words.. The boy hesitates, then hands over a set of car keys.. Text comes up, over the boy looking out the window as car lights drive away.. "Thanks for everyone working through Christmas."

I'm 100% with you. Pretty much everything makes me cry. I can tell a movie is really bad (like REALLY bad, because pretty much all of the movies I like are bad) if it doesn't make me cry; I'm a sucker for a hopeful storyline or a happy ending most of all, but sad things make me cry too... Sometimes all it takes is a good film score (I cry literally every time I hear "Concerning Hobbits" from LotR lmao) and I'm done. I kind of like that I'm that way though?? Like... not enough people are in touch with their emotions lol.
That said, thank you for playing this demo!! :D I've been looking forward to the full release of this game forever and now I'm even more excited.

i haven't cry for years too, you know.. but last year in August (3 days after my mum's birthday) i shed so many tears because my big sister passed away.. it broke me a lot and i haven't even recovered until now. to know that my mum was just feeling happy "a bit" for having a birthday dinner.. she couldn't stop worrying about my big sis illness (my sis lived far away from us and we were about to visit her on monday but she passed away the day before).. but then 3 days after we had to hear the bad news in the middle of the night, it's so heartbreaking..
i kept thinking about her and sometimes i felt i don't want anthing anymore, i just kept sinking.. and to think that my mum might feel a lot much worse than how i feel..
..and her birthday was on Dec 25.. now every Christmas will keep remind us of her, more than ever..
