Sage’s second round was a whole vibe. I feel there is a genuine respect growing for this type of experience in street dance. Yes you can have punches, hype fdm and blow ups but there is also ART in it as well. Both were soul sharing but SAGE left the room in his second. Pure vessel.
Perfect battle of unconventional styles. Emotions footwork is wild. Love that Sage always seems to genuinely enjoy what his opponents bring and give props. Sets a nice vibe.
🔥🔥🔥🔥 battle. I got Emotions with the W but Sage put up a hell of a fight. This one of them battles you gotta give replay value to, to determine who you feel got what round & W
Sage has lowered his level quite a bit, he looks out of sorts, he doesn't look as dangerous as he usually does in the past in that FDM beat. But he won by a low margin
Emotions unlocked her full potential last round 😂😂nice battle. If her second was as strong as her first and last that’s a easy dub for her. Sage got this tho with 3 clean rounds.
Why does it say “SAGE ROUND 1” for both dancers? When I search for “Sage” I see battles with the dancer in white. When I search for “Emotions” I see battles with the dance in black (who I thought won this battle).
Hard to say...The other dude said "flexn" which is TECHNICALLY true. Mostly in the sense that this is a flexn battle. However, usually dancers never exclusively do one thing. They blend multiple other elements into their primary style, fusing them together to make something unique and personalized. The KIND of flexn they're doing is specifically called "get low". However, the other aspect of their movement is hard to define considering its so free. Contemporary influence? It mostly comes down to body awareness, maximizing range of motion, setting your intention towards what your movements mean, SLOWING DOWN, and letting your movement speak in a it's abstract form. They're blending that idea INTO their get low that they have mastered and personalized. Its not what theyre doing. Its the WAY theyre doing. The song they chose. Their timing. Their cadence. Their characterization. Their story. If you wanted to learn this, make sure you know exactly which part you are inspired by and where you can learn that foundation and make it your own.
@@SerpentineWisdom respectfully fam, I been Flexn for over ten years. I’ve battled in Battle Fest, did king of the streets and now I am in the professional dance industry. The man asked what type of dancing is this called. Sage and Emo are MASTERS of the “Get Low” which is part of Flexn. It’s not the fact that it’s a Flexn battle. Do they add things to their styles, sure. But this is Flexn. Don’t get it twisted
