I'm near 63 years old so I better hurry up before I get too old. Haha! It's so cool to see all of this. So thanks again. The Executive surf club is one of my favs. Try to catch the Killer Bees playing there if you can. If they still do.
I have to say that I really used to like going to the executive surf club, but I had a lot of trouble with one of the upper up there when I was working for Uber and lift. The guy was just a real dick and I never even met him. I don't even remember his name. It might've been Armando or something like that, are used to give employees a ride to that place and they were super cool people
Drove a dump truck for 10 years in Corpus. From 2008 to 2018. Was there Monday through Friday then would head back home to McAllen for the weekend. I loved driving but I never liked Corpus one bit. Maybe because it wasn't my home town? Not sure. Now 5 years later since i left that job i tell my wife that i kind of miss working there. Strange huh lol. Watching this video brought back a lot of memories.

Good morning friend. I was probably filming there around 1 PM yesterday. Not mobbed, but a good amount of people. I think the weather forecast kept a lot of tourists out of the area and all that we really got so far was some mild rain that started around 5:30 AM. It's not even raining now and I can see some blue and fluffy white clouds in the sky at the moment.
Someone had mentioned tornado warnings near Brownsville, which is right on the border. When I was watching the storm on the radar, it basically went north and south of us and we got a tiny strip where we were between the two.

Those are some good choices. Port Aransas would be my favorite out of all the places you listed just because it's more laid-back. You can also drive right on the beach there. It's pretty unique. Hope you have a great trip and enjoy yourself.

Good morning Kevin. I hope you get some rest. We got a little bit of rain from about 530 till 9 AM. Really late. Hasn't rained cents and the skies are slightly overcast, but I can see white clouds and blue sky.
I lived in Portland Texas for two years. Portland basically is just an extension of Corpus Christi. The amount of new hotels in industry in the last 15 years has really expanded. There is a refinery several hundred yards from the high school. There's industry in Taft, Gregory and Ingleside, which can be seen. it all depends on what you're looking for. Portland is apparently a good school district. Good police force. Has a nice library. Probably about 40 restaurants. A grocery store a Walmart and Academy sporting goods. North Beach and Corpus Christi would be 10 minutes away. Padre Island would be about 30 minutes away. Port Aransas would be about 25 minutes away.

Well, we all know what a lighthouse is but does this one serve a purpose? Or is it just decorative just for show or something to draw the tourist.
Light houses are no longer used for navigation. This is a private owned project and part of the Northbeach renovation program.
