the best shield theres a 2nd npc called the beast hunter that gives 2 accesories like the shark hunter but when you get done with the accesories you get an item that gives you a shield i think you need to defeat another boss that doesnt spawn in the ocean to get it but some people say the shield is better than the anchor considering its defense buff

The shield is not better bc it is not in the same category as a sword and it isn't even the best accessory when it comes to everything else but see raids

Fiji since you don’t like using shark race you can use leviathan shield it gives 30% defence against melee attacks, 60% defence for sea events including the leviathan and 90% against sea damage and also 1250 health
Btw shark race is the best v4 Fiji just doesn’t like it TRUST ME shark race you can get health buff and you can pvp get 30m bounty’ it’s just amazing
