So he traded the car in for something cheaper while he was selling the car to another guy, and he did this after the guy wired half the money to the bank. Once the bank found out he traded it to somebody else for 30k the original buyer was refunded the amount he wired to the bank and the negative equity was transferred to his new cheaper car. Meaning he owed 80k for a car worth 40k. So instead of owing the 80k, he had to return his cheap one and the one he traded back to the banks. So he lost both cars and had to spend money on restoring it back (with a wrap). Either he didn’t know how to sell a car or he really is a scammer and almost got locked up for trying to sell one car to two different people.
