You know that realistic frog thing isn’t the only thing that ticks me off. What really ticks me off was that it took these people like 2 mins to accept these guys, but back in Wartwood it took them like a whole month to trust Anne. Seriously is no one concerned by that?

idk i can lower my suspension of disbelief coz its not real, but i would assume its to highlight the difference between a small town with the motto 'slow to accept and even slower to respect' and a community of immigrants who when they arrived in america probably were also seen as weird and different
Hmmmmmm... Well I guess its true.
I feel like with some cultures it works since they were friends and just proved themselves by defeating those robots and it was a small community versus a small town. Not all situations are going to resolve the same. I think the other difference was that Anne's parents took them in so it helps them further gain acceptance. However some may be only doing so because the others are. They even said they were ugly and it's possible they're still in the heat of the moment and they'll process this later. People are different. After all, after Anne proved herself, the town was at least willing to put up with her living amongst them.
