Who am I?
I'm a passionate futures trader who caught the trading bug in 2020 and haven't looked back since. If you have searched TH-cam endlessly for a winning strategy, candle stick pattern, algo trading, trading psychology, smart money, bank money and any other search term you came up with no luck....well you're in the right place! I have been a half a$$ trader for three years and only during the last 6-8 months has everything turned around. I am here to share ideas on what works and what is simply garbage, and the ideas that have changed my approach to the futures market. @@RobsTrades Found something pretty interesting. I’m sure you have seen it too. If price stops out the source candle, there is enough momentum to look for a short-term reversal position. Even if it happens a few candles later. I will backtest it and share my findings.

with the stop loss at the top/bottom of the source candle, is this including the spread, or do you trade without spread but pay commission?
In futures contracts we pay a commission to enter and exit a trade.

your first example at 21:30 the candle after your trigger candle closed above 8 ema that does not nullify it?

At 20:30-40ish, you state a down bar opened higher than the previous candle that was green. The wick was higher but based on the body, it appeared to open in the body of the previous candle. IS this intentional? Or should we back test to see if the following bar has any part of it above for the short and vice versa for the long?

I came up with this on my own a couple of years ago. I called it High Red Low Green. I’m glad someone found a way to tweak it because I kept seeing those patterns but couldn’t make it profitable. Thanks SO much!!

Hey Rob. Watched your video and subscribed. I use NT as well. I've been on NT's simulator for the past two to three weeks trying to find the sweet spot for success. It's been maddening, but I like how NQ moves. Massive potential IMO. I downloaded your indicator. My goal on NQ was 2k per day with 5 contracts, but if I can consistently get 3.5k to 4k per day I would be ecstatic. I'll try it out tomorrow. Happy Thanksgiving.

Thank you Rob for sharing your strategy. I like the simplicity of your system. Just want you to clarify one point for me. In your initial explanation, both of your reversal trigger candles looked like they gap down / up and then moved back inside the body of the previous candle. However, in your indicator examples looked like we don't require the trigger candles to have gaps. Can you please confirm whether the gaps are important or not? I have subscribed to your channel and I also follow Rob Anderson as well. Finally I like to try your indicator to improve my trades. Thanks a lot.

Hi Rob, I'm mostly a Forex trader but I've been watching your work and love how simplistic it is, thank you. One thing I don't understand about futures is how some people are trading the 1 second time frame. Isn't there spreads to deal with in Futures just like Forex? If you have any insight on this, it would be helpful. Just trying to understand Futures trading better. Again thanks for sharing your knowledge.
