Fill each cylinder with Marvel Mystery Oil till its coming out of the spark plug holes. Check on it everyday and fill up if the level lowers. Oil should leak passed the piston rings and into the crankcase. After about a week or two, put the bike in fifth gear and start rocking it. OOOOORRRR just pull the heads lol. My guess is its rusted stuck.
I just got a 1988 gl for free from a friend of a friend. It starts but doesn't want to stay running these videos are a huge help apprecaite it!
