I am incredibly happy with FH5 coming to PS5! Now we have both FH and GT playable on the same platform! I may have to upgrade to PS5 soon… Also I found that there are rumors that both Halo and Gears of War are coming to PS5 as well, what does this mean for the future of Xbox?
I have mixed feelings about this. I had to make a tough decision between buying a PlayStation or an Xbox and ended up buying an Xbox because of Forza Horizon 5. I wanted to buy a PlayStation because of The Last of Us and Horizon Zero Dawn, but Forza Horizon was what tipped the decision for me. So now I feel like I’ve invested in the wrong ecosystem. I just hope that at the very least, Microsoft, when giving up their flagship title, has negotiated a deal for the release of something like The Last of Us on Xbox.
It’s not too late to sell your Xbox to buy a Ps5 instead. Or stay at Xbox. It’s your choice. Technically speaking you haven’t lost anything as you have enjoyed playing FH5 since release. No need to question yourself about this. You made the best decision from your perspective at that point in the past so no need to feel bad about it. If you have the feeling that investing now in a Ps5 is a better way to go then feel free. If I were you i would switch to PlayStation when the Ps6 will be released. It is very likely that PS4 and Ps5 games will be available on Ps6 as well so you will be able those Ps exclusives also.
You have many good points. I will make the switch to PS when 6 is released. I do, however, want to say welcome to all PS players to FH5 it's a fantastic game. For everyone who owns a PS and loves cars and car games, you'll have the time of your life comming! I would hope that they could relive FH4 again on all platforms since that, in my opinion (and many others'), is even better
@@blueshadow7385 tbh I am a Ps5 only gamer. And I really appreciate your words! I appreciate also Microsoft new strategy as I would happily be buying those fantastic Xbox games on Ps5. I like Microsoft strategy and understand why they are going down this path. I think we all will be winning at some point. Cause in the long run we only will be needing one console or even only a PC. Or maybe cloud gaming will be working smoothly and we won’t have to have dedicated hardware at all. We’ll see. For now I am very happy that those Xbox games are coming to Ps5 so I can also enjoy them. Take care!
@@arianoooamari6949Sadly, I fear we will all be losing, as no competition means Sony could charge £1,000 for the PS6. And Game Pass is heavily reliant on consoles. Competition is always good for consumers. Remember, many people don’t want to game on a PC, they want a console in their living room so they can play from the couch. Not everyone is a PC gamer. I’m a PC gamer myself, but many people I know are not. If they didn’t have a console, they wouldn’t have a PC either. Consoles have introduced gaming to many who wouldn’t have played on a PC, bringing gaming to a much wider audience. Losing that would be a huge step backward.

It means that there will soon be no competition for Sony and an extremely expensive PS6.
I wouldn't, PS5 like past PS consoles have awful over heating issues, reason why i switched to Xbox.
Heard rumors thats PlayStation is gonna copy Xbox and give Xbox exclusive games due to finding out Xbox is making more money than PlayStation

I play on Xbox starting from 2012, then I bought Xbox 360 to play Forza Horizon 1. Next my console will be PS6. Farewell Xbox.

Darn it I wanted the 4C and 8C
So happy to see it coming to PS5! Especially since crossplay will be available! More players equals more fun!
