NEW Country Bear Musical Jamboree at Magic Kingdom! New Songs, Grizzly Hall Tour & Review!

- We're getting a first look at the brand new Country Bear Musical Jamboree at Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World that is scheduled to open on July 17, 2024! We'll see the bears FULL new, reimagined show, new looks, outfits, learn about their updated back stories and explore the freshened up Grizzly Hall! I'll share my thoughts on the changes, what I liked, what I'll miss, and we'll hear from country singer Emily Ann Roberts, who voices Trixie in the new show! Let me know what you think of this reimagined version of Country Bear Jamboree, the countrified Disney songs they chose, and overall vibe! Thank you so much to Disney for inviting me to this preview, I'm so grateful as I've been eagerly awaiting the reopening of Grizzly Hall, and to be able to share it with you, my fellow theme park fans!! As a Country Bears fan, I loved all the little sound effect callbacks and Big Al of course. Kind of like Country Bears and Mickey’s PhilharMagic mixed together lol. Thank you so much for sharing Jackie, and so early too! 💛

It seems like a bright, cheerful show. I think it respects the original Country Bears.
This is adorable. A nice fresh coat of paint and soundtrack update for one of the great shows at the parks.
This feels like a great update: the characters still have the right vibe, the pacing is faster, it's very playful and for the most part the song choices work.

It was very cute but I'll always miss the original show. I think some of the songs fit the characters and style well while others seem to fall short.
i wish they had kept our country bears in disneyland. the pooh ride is nothing compared to this. disney needs more "group experience" attractions,and less standing in long lines for a 3 minute ride.

Hey super Enthused Disneyland kept the country Bear's today I am there having a meeting this morning Going back to Disney California this afternoon try a new sample of Disney food and pick a restaurant to have a real food this year take a good summer this month this is Jenna Dabao had fun

I loved the music! I used to only catch this show every once in a while but after hearing this, I could see myself stopping by on most trips to sing along. Thanks for getting this out so quickly - I have been looking forward to seeing the new show.
Out of all these songs, “You got a Friend in Me” was the goat of all songs played in this cover, my only pet peeve was that they didn’t made that gem of a song a full length version. ❤️🙏😭

This just made me cry. Wish they were back in DSNYLND/CA ADVENTURE. The songs were perfect for mostly all folks know them from DISNEY films. Will never go out of tune. Thank you, Jackie for taking all of us along ...

@SuperEnthused I'm not a country music fan but I thought this was a fabulous upgrade. I was looking forward the most to 'Try Everything' and it didn't disappoint. I haven't seen the original that often but I will add this new one to my list next time we are at MK. Thanks for taking us along. I feel privileged that we have seen it already. ❤❤

Thank you for taking us to the New Country Bears Jamboree. I remember seeing their other show back in 1981. I thought they were pretty cool then. Im thinking this new show will be a hit. ❤️
Holy moly, that was the fastest turnaround that I've ever seen for a vlog edit! 😱 WELL DONE! It is _beyond_ cool that Disney had you out to be the VERY FIRST to see the new show, and that you got to meet the voice of Trixie! Truthfully, we never had much attachment to the classic show...but the updated one genuinely looks like a lot of fun! I think we can all agree that the animatronics were in pretty dire need of an update, and it looks like they stayed true to what made the original attraction so near and dear to so many hearts. Love to see a little bit of Disney's more modern hits wound into the show, too. Is it strange to get a little teary-eyed at two robot bears' cover of 'A Whole New World'? haha we may just have to work the bears into our trip after all! Thanks so much for sharing this with us, Jackie! ✨

I've been such a huge fan of the Country Bears for so long that I admit I was a little nervous about the change, but I think they did a great job with the update
I like the old one best but at least they have kept the bears- except for poor old Liver Lips whom I will miss!

You have alot of class, lady! I liked the show, but, they maybe should have selected other country music songs, rather than the Disney songs. There are so many great Country western songs that could have chosen. I understand why the did it this way (copyright issues, and people are familiar with Disney songs), but it still would have been nice to hear some good ole country! It was amazing to see Trixie’s alter ego, Emily Ann Roberts. She has an excellent voice….and she is purdy! Thank you so much, Jackie! This was a great treat!
Ok, I watched it twice before making a comment Lol. The OG Country Bears will always be my favorite for sure, but I thought they did a really good job with the new show. The first thing that stuck out to me was the new animatronics. They definitely made some improvements and seems more lifelike a fluid. The song choices were fun, and they can always change them down the road without redoing the entire show. Naturally you gotta have Big Al with the comic relief Lol and I'm SO SO glad they kept "Come Again" at the end. I would've been really bummed if they changed that too. Most importantly, we still have the Bears and hopefully for many many years to come. Great job and review sister 🙌😁🐻
🎉 County Bears 🐻 are back🎉 Bravo to the singers and the Creators, and designers, and all involved 👏 👍👍 They look and sound amazing. Upgraded and yet still that country vibe, love it. I'm from Tennessee and old country songs are a must for us, so seeing Country Bears when at Disney is a must. I loved the old version, but the upgrade is great to🤠 Happy for you Jackie to see their 1st comeback showing 😊 You did goid sharing with us😊 Thank you. Be Safe Take Care 😊❤

Thank you for bringing these updates to us! I think you hit the nail on the head, about the songs being well done country covers. I’m the most sad about them removing Ole Slew Foot from the finale as that one always was my personal favourite.
I’ll probably see it once, and go there when I need an air conditioning break, but I won’t seek it out the way I used to. :(
Thank you so much Jackie for the video. I never thought I would cry to the country bears but knowing we almost lost this makes this all the more important. I am so glad they did not mess this up, it's not like the others but I still can love this version to. Country bears and carousel of progress along with haunted mansion are the main ones where I can say the whole skit. So much love to the imagineers for not messing this up❤️❤️❤️

I don't like it, but I'm glad the bears are refreshed and happy they are still with us like you said. Maybe when I see it in person I will like it better.

Tokyo Jamboree had Achy Breaky heart.😊 Of course, it was in both Japanese and English.
Jackie I have to say after watching the entire show, I really like it a lot. We will always hold the original show close to heart but the new one is really good. Unlike the changing of Splash Mountain into Tiana for reasons I won't go into here, which I am not happy about, I think the changes for the Country Bear Jamboree show are outstanding. We will be going to Magic Kingdom Dec 1st for the Christmas party so we plan to ride Tiana and see the new show then.

All I can think about during the live performances .. halfway through the show the lights go out begin to flicker and it becomes Five Nights at Freddy's.
Holy WoW ! After some of (what I think are) the worst mistakes in Disney Park history, Boy Howdy, they absolutely knocked it out of the park. A huge thanks and congratulations to the team that pulled this off, and major gratitude to you Jackie for bringing it to us. After growing up as a Disney kid in Florida I can't stress how pleased I am with this show though it may be a bit short. Grizzly Hall had seen better days, and now it's set to see a lot more. Long Live Country Bears.💖🏰

What an amazing twist with Big Al singing Remember Me. When the first "chord" hit, I was so excited because I thought for sure they were keeping it in. Alas, Blood on the Saddle has moved on along with All the Guys Who Turn Me on Turn Me Down. The show honestly felt shorter to me, but then I haven't been in Grizzly Hall is over 15 years. Such a neat event, thank you for sharing it with us. Was the gift just an album cover, or did they actually press vinyl for the event? The guitar pick was sweet. Another excellent video.

I was very skeptical as the original is one of my favorite underrated attractions, but this was so cute! Also the new costumes and overall refresh of the animatronics look fantatsic.

I will definitely miss Blood on the Saddle but Remember Me was a good choice as a replacement.
The date on the guitar pick, 7/17, is the anniversary of the elimination of the imperial Romanov family of Russia in the year 1918. If you have seen the animated film "Anastasia" (1997), that story is about the after-effect of the legend that Duchess Anastasia Romanov survived the x-ecution of the five Romanov children and their imperial parents.
I’m sure the show is “Bearable”! 🤣
The songs aren't full length but just samples of the songs. There also isn't as much interaction between characters as there was before. The original had a 16 minute runtime. The new one is about 11 minutes long. So it's definitely shorter. There is room to extend the songs though.
What will be interesting is to see how popular it is in a year. Will it draw people back or will people tire of it quickly?

Anyone know the runtime compared to the last version? Seems a lot shorter which will eat up crowds, speed up wait times but factor into how long I'll wait.
