Austin, Texas. Not the Heavy Metal Capital of the World, but getting there one band at a time... I saw these guys at a local bar, Come and Take It- Live, several weeks ago. I didn't realize they are homies. At the t-shirt table prior to the show, I asked a bandmember if they got their name from the old Grand Funk Rail Road song. He said, "Oh, yeah. Uh-huh." I was fairly sure he was toying with the old guy and silently doubted whether he had even heard of it. The speedy, cool rock 'n' roll riff is perfectly matched with the husky vocals, making this a great songs.
