    I bought the cheap one; it’s on year 7 I believe and after every winter I’m praying I can start the damn thing up. Lucky I have every time but it ain’t easy to do so

    I used to have a poulan pro mower as as the main mower for my business. I wasn't impressed with the Briggs & Stratton engine, it continued to fail and have carburetor problems. because it was a residential model it ware out quickly and like you said front wheel drive dosen't last forever. It would constantly break down so i would have to use my backup mower what was a 20" mower from the 1980s with out self-propell. I just replaced the engine with a Chinese predator and used it until the front axle broke in half. I can't complain because it payed for itself and lasted 3 years. I decided to purchase a 2020 Toro Super Recycler with the Toro engine. Best $500 i ever spent on a mower. Avoid the base models and buy the super Recycler if you run a lawn business its totally worth the money and the personal pase system is awesome.

    Toro is the best you can buy. Now , the 163cc is 5hp you need . to cut any lawn .Self propelled , elect start, rwd and that aluminum deck with super cycler will to give you a golf course look. If you go under 5HP , you will have clippings on your lawn. so cut the lawn when it is dry. Jan 7 ,2022

    Why do sell the cheaper Toros? You shouldn't sell stuff that you publicly bash.

    The Personal pace is great on hills, and the mower mulches like crazy. I have the Brigg's engine but they've never been a problem for me since I always run high octane gas + marvel's mystery oil in all my small engines. I have 1 that is over 5 years old, and had another older than that that finally died hitting a large rubber dog toy (superchewer it's basically made out of car tire rubber and weighs 5lbs for my pit bull).

    city mowers. I need a high hp, big wheel, side discharge PUSH mower, not self propelled. ohh.. and put an engine throttle back on it. My old cheap mower has mowed a 3 acre lawn for 17 years. None of these will do that.

      @@tedschmitt178 We rarely see honda issues. We tell customers that Briggs are disposable engines.

      @@gncc600 Well, Briggs is a disposable engine. You don't see Honda in financial trouble, some people have owned the GCV residential engines for decades with few issues. Briggs was a good engine, not anymore, even their Vanguard line may also have suffered. I mean, the Vanguard line isn't even made in Japan anymore.

    • @gncc600
      @gncc600 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@WJCTechyman We avoid briggs like the plague. I only buy Honda and Kawsaki powered equipment and have had an incredible experience. The guy probably makes more money on the briggs powered junk so he pushes it. They did just go bankrupt right?

      I've never had a problem with a Brigg's or a Honda but I run Marvel's mystery oil in all my small engines. I have a 5 year old Briggs right now that starts and runs great.
