@@teklasmom4156 That scripture does not apply to the issue at hand, it means..do not look at physics and natural adornment, because the prophet Samuel was judging by height and physical attributes and strength, not by dressing, but the Lord says to look at the heart that can perform and obey, that's different. Yes the Lord looks at the heart, but remember that out of the heart are all the issues of life, (Proverbs 4;23b), so out of the heart comes the choice of dressing. Proverbs 7:10 says..."And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart." 1 Corinthians 11:13 says..."Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?" Again in Jeremiah 17:9-10 ..."The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doing." This is why we need our Lord Jesus Christ to purge our hearts so that we beer fruits of holiness inside-out. Dressing of an harlot can hinder us from going to heaven even if we think we are pure. If our heart is holy, we will dress holy and vice versa. Stay blessed.
