Fantastic, danke. I feel inspired to try loose watercolour painting as I tend towards tight. Do you stand to paint?
Thank you Elke. Yes, I paint standing. I find it easier in many ways, particularly it's easier to make a few steps back from time to time to assess if it makes sense from a distance, if it doesn't, it means the composition, the back bone of the painting, is broken.
Totally remarkable Nina!!! I appreciate how you have your paints Identified on the side of your palatte! I have trouble sometimes remembering what paints are which!!! The painting itself is gorgeous!!! It's simple enough for us beginners, and yet it teaches us how to use different techniques in order to make the painting look better!!!! You are such a great teacher!!! If you don't mind please tell me more about your palette it self! 👍👍👍🎨

Nina, wonderful demonstration of wet on wet as well as creating reflection on water. Love the simplicity of your subject. Although a fairly basic scene it was very well orchestrated and resulted in a quite pleasing watercolor. Thanks for the great demonstration. I’m anxious to try a similar scene using the techniques you shared with us.
