It really is impressive how every single character (except papyrus, maybe) forgets the important fact that frisk is still a kid, and has been killed like 100 times by all of them, apart from being put through so much more It's not really surprising the effect it had on her, and I'd be grateful if she had forgiven me if i was one of them
Dude undertale is not some old TV game just cuz it has the look of it it's actually much darker and deeper comics don't really get the real character of sans, chara, Frisk and Papyrus for example sans would do anything for the resets to stop, Chara is not evil and Papyrus wouldn't be disappointed that sans didn't tell him. He would understand.
The game has a better storyline, the characters have more personality, and the fandom just ditches all of it and makes completely different interpretations with the characters in the game.

Sadly Chara isn't much of a puppeteer, but is more a natural force that feeds off the intentional actions of the player, and finishes what the player started. When you are close to killing someone, chara feeds off your murderous intent and either does extra damage on the last hit, or one shots monsters without much effort. Chara became genocidal because you became genocidal. In the pacifist run, the fun and witty dialogue in the text box is actually Chara feeding off your pacifism and having fun commenting about the monsters quirks while you make friends with them. Chara is not the monster, Chara is just responding to your actions and building their world view based on what you did.
have fun with your weak theory. evidence for frisk being good and chara being evil: during a pacifist route, there is only white text visible. But during a genocide route, red text describes the monsters, and at save points. One big one is snowdin if you don't kill a certain character, red text says "That comedian.." Chara also appears at the end of the genocide route, but not the Pacifist.
@@danielthecake8617 Buddy, a theory that seems almost confirmed in Chara being the narrator in EVERY route. However the red text is because they are feeding of your LOVE, in fact. How on earth is Chara bad when they tell you that you’re not above consiquences, implying that YOU killed everyone not them. And if you do multiple genocide routes Chara tells you to do a different route and stop doing genocide. Plus not to mention for a game with as many complex layers in every character as Undertale “Frisk good Chara bad” seems like something far too basic.
To add to this. Chara is confused when they wake up because they know their plan failed so they don’t know why they are suddently there. They know that for some reason you brought them back, so they assume you’re special and that you’re doing the “right” thing. However by the end once you’ve, well, killed everyone they veiw you as an evil human who think they’re above consiquences.

Fun fact:sans doesn't remember what happened after a reset is done but he can still know when one got made he just doesn't know what happened before it
He only reads your facial expressions, to try and understand what happened to you before the reset, he is just really good at reading facial expressions.

I think it is more like they are aware of resets, not exactly remembering them, but they are smart enough to connect things (that deja vu feeling and your behavior, in Sans' case it's your face, and in Asgore's it's your statement of him killing you before).

Alyssa Orante Chara didn’t like humans, she only was influenced to kill Sans when Frisk had finished off the others. She tried to help Frisk in the battle, since Frisk was the one to start genocide. TL:DR Chara didn’t possess Frisk, Frisk influenced her to kill.
my reasoning would be “you’ll have to grind” and grinding is boring besides the genocide route is just one straight path while the pacifist route has a lot of detours
