    Although I use Rhino CAD for most 3D work.. the initial sketching process is always fascinating to watch.

    I am always interested in how people nowadays hold their pencils with their thumbs straight up and only bend the second joints of the forefinger and middle fingers. You get much more control if you hold the pencil with all your finger joints and bend your thumb. If you imagine holding a golf ball, that is how you curl your fingers to hold a pencil for very fine motor control.

    That was so perfect. Do you have any video tutorials for jewelry design? I am so much interested in JD but where I live there are no live courses.

      Hi Rana, At this stage, we don’t have any tutorials, but that’s a great idea! Thanks for the suggestion.

    How can I learn and do jewelry design what knowledge and skills do I need , as software?

    • @Amanda-yg7vc
      @Amanda-yg7vc 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it could be autoCAD, since drafts are mostly done there. Other than that, I don't know what other designers use. I heard a good skill to learn would be the basics of drawing and sketching (particularly perspective drawings, since you need to sketch forms in 2d and 3d.) Hope this helps.

      Oh! Also, maybe dabbling on the elements of design could help too. And by analyzing reference photos of famous jewelries and their design. I'm also kind of new and still in search of how to gain the necessary skills.
