Molly has such incredible manners and forbearance for a dog that can smell chocolate on everybody’s hands, if that had been my dog you would have all lost your fingers!
Margaret's embroidery is lovely! My Scottish relatives are in Nova Scotia and the family tartan is very similar. Once again everyone always puts o much thought into their gifts. So very heartwarming. 🥰🥰
At 57 I am a child of pre paracetamol.... when we needed pain relief my mother ground up an aspirin into choc syrup. It was better than drinking a dissolved aspirin in water. Lol... when you said chocolate as medicine, it bought back that memory. Thank you.
The giant ornaments look gorgeous hung outdoors either on an evergreen or a bare birch. They make a stunning welcome statement. That's 'my' tartan as Halifax Nova Scotia is my hometown where our Scottish roots are well represented. A surprise cadeaux , the sunglasses were gone and we can actually see an entire handsome face.
That frame! I have never seen anything like it! Nettie's idea to place it in front of a mirror is perfect, the only way to show off the picture in the frame and the back of the frame itself, or a table in the middle of the room. Thank you for the video! Epic, as always!
Watching your Advent videos has become one of our Christmas traditions! Loving seeing Alexander and Davey with you all. What beautiful souls. Love from Australia ⚜♥️
How lovely - always remain positive all of you: your energy ripples out to all of us that need it and share it. Bless you, Stephanie, and all the fluctuating La Lande family. Continue to be yourselves - thank you!
I quite adore Davie, his intelligence shines through. What an incredibly talented man, sensitive, handsome and thoughtful. How brave of him to join Caddo at the Château! Lots of love to all from us In Greensboroin Vermont!
The green frame that Lydia sent from NH, USA would be pretty right now in the Winter Salon with the front of her card (the beautiful Christmas tree) in the frame. Just an idea!
I just accidentally napped while watching Cadeaux and was transported to LaLande while you were filming one as a Bridal Shower and I saw your wedding dress was white trimmed with red, including the shoes and veil and it was so beautiful and everyone was so excited but trying to be quiet as you were filming in the other room. I have never been so disappointed to wake up. lol The dress had a corseted top with tiny pleated oyster ruffle around the top and red piping under that with embroidered red roses on the bodice and a red sparkly sash and the bottom was organza ruffles that looked like soft white feathers. It was so stunning,
I can see why the sender said that allium flower photo made her giggle! There is one little show-off part of the blossom rising above the others saying “look at me!”.
You are absolutely correct! I took the picture and that little show off at the top made it stand out over all the other blossoms. Thank you for noticing!
@@lauriet65 hi i’m from NJ also and i recently found out an acquaintance of mine loves Chateau Diaries as well and we always enjoy seeing other people from NJ enjoying this wonderful channel!
What beautiful gifts you've received, from the swarovski crystal star to all the animals, there fantastic. I absolutely love all the Christmas you have all over the chateau, I asked for a Christmas tree in my bedroom sadly maybe next year. You have brought so much life and love to Lalande. Sitting alone with a hot waterbottle strapped around you is a thing of the past. Everything you bring to Lalande is so passionate and endering Its infectious. You and Phil are the ideal couple, as are Nattie and Amaury. Love to all, xx💕
this is my favorit show to watch i just wish we had one hour a day it is so existing to watch what goes on at the chateau, and i think there is love in the air at the chateau can not wait to see if there is a new couple coming up
All of your gifts are so wonderful, my fav is the crystal snowflake. How wonderful and blessed you should feel. God Bless you during this holiday season. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
What a wonderful post. I loved the laughter and looks of joy on your faces... Please do not think me rude or inappropriate, but, Davey has the most beautiful eyes, they seem to be reflective, thoughtful and kind and slightly sad. Best to you all.
What a joyful video. All the ornaments are beautiful and that small Christmas crystal star is gorgeous. Such thoughtful gifts and your appreciation and joy is stellar. Alexander you look so dapper always and it’s wonderful to see you having such a lovely time with the LaLande family and now you are part of the group. Davey you look very handsome and love seeing your smile and relaxed comfort. Ladies in red, beautiful as usual. Love seeing Molly too. I still think Phillip needs a real dog of his own. Even when you go away there are always folks around to watch the animals and it would be good company for Molly. Have a wonderful week.
I’ve always heard it’s better to give than receive, but after watching all the amazing gifts opened on Chateau Unwrapped each week I’m starting to think the receiving side is an enviable place to be!
I actually started watching the Chateaux Diaries on the episode when Marie had the Women's workshop. I remember when Steph and Gerry were in Vietnam and had to come rushing home. I thought OMG how is La Lande going to survive? Thankfully although unexpected an RV pulled up. That was the beginning of a long list of Godsends! When the news of the Salon beams and the Chapel walls came we all saw Stephanie, once again showing us that all in her life is not rainbows and lollipops. So brave to show that on camera. But again I am wondering... What Godsends are on their way this time?
I just finished watching this episode, enjoyed it as always. I have collected Jay Strongwater items for years. The are the "Faberge" of our day and sold in the states exclusively through Neiman Marcus. May I suggest you investigate that gift. You may be surprised at its value. Truly a treasure. Merry Christmas from Alabama.
I laughed so hard I snorted my tea when you were trying to read the name of the Prince. Something hard! Bahahahaha I love you all so much. You are my family now whether you like it or not. It was also lovely to see you receive the package from Halifax, Nova Scotia with our tartan and the pictures of some of our architecture. I was born and raised in Halifax and am very proud of that fact. Anyhoo, love to you all.
The green frame looks beautiful in there where you held the gift opening, but it would also be beautiful on the piano in the oldest part of the chateau - a piano frame
Ooouuuu, the very big ornaments would look amazing hanging from fir garlands on the beams ( fake garlands would be ok) , they would be seen more there than the tree possibly. Beautiful gifts, well done all. ☃️🎄☃️🥰🙋🏼♀️
Medicine and Pizza Rat!!! Too cute!!! Presents are so thoughtful. Have a wonderful week, I love crystal, the crystal ornament is beautiful also!!! Have a blessed week!!!
Hello from Halifax, Nova Scotia! What a pleasant surprise to see the first gifts were from here. My mother started watching months ago and now I’m hooked. All the best to you, Stephanie, and the Chateau LaLanders. 🎄💗
Such beautiful presents, especially theat snowflake decoration/window ornament! When you hang it in the window, it'll look extra stunning if you hang it on strong, clear, nylon thread, such as fishing line or cat gut, with just a few sparkly clear beads at the base of the thread where it holds the ornament. That looks amazing in the light of the window. ❄ But, Stephanie, those black patent boots you wore! Ooh-la-la! 😍 Love, Jacqueline from New Zealand 🥰
All of the gifts were so special as usual! A special shout out to my fellow New Yorker who sent the gifts from the Adirondacks! Years ago as a child my grandparents used to take us there in the summertime to The Enchanted Forest and your woodland decorations brought back very nice memories from a very lovely area of New York State! I also very much liked the cross stitch cushion covers…wonderful!
I have a request! You know how there are long videos of a fireplace or Christmas scene you can put on for atmosphere? I would absolutely die for a Lelande Christmas scene video. Outlander has a great example of this.
Sweet Stephanie, you would think that you were a child from 5:00 to 7:00 children the kindness in your heart. I don't think I've ever met a more sincere sweet person as you are on TH-cam. Much love from Oklahoma USA Jackie 🇺🇸💖
EVERY time you do a cadeaux,I am just stunned by the ongoing generosity, time, and thoughtfulness of the unique and meaningful gifts you receive! Happy Advent🙏🙏🎄🎄🎄
The gifts make me think of all the tireless and talented people who make these numerous objects, It´s really amazing. And all the ones making the parcels with care and sending them. Stephanie and Nati like sisters in red. And I laughed "hard" with you haha 🤩🎄✨🎁
Magnificent glass ornaments with plaid wow gorgeous. The crystal snowflake is actually a moravian star the very first ornament representing the star of Bethlehem. Enjoy.
Such beautifu gifts! So fun to see the tartan from Nova Scotia! I love seeing you open gifts from Canada! I love hearing the crackling fire in the background....now we know you are all nice and toasty!! Hugs from me to you all!
I have had a crystal star hanging in my kitchen window (which faces southeast) for over 30 yrs. Every season as the sun moves, it surprises me with its prism rainbows cast in different places in the room. A lovely treat to come down to in the morning! I never know where they will be.
Alexandria is a wonderful addition to the LaLande family ❤😊👏🥰he seems so happy there I am pleased to see that he fits in 😊 granted it’s because you are all amazing 🤩
My mother used a bonsai juniper for her Christmas tree. So tiny ornaments were the choice. I struggled to find such lovely things as the birds you are gifted today. Christmas is such a joyful time.
Love all the laughter, giggles and I’m sure I heard a snort while opening beautiful gifts. Some many beautiful gifts but I like the crystal snowflake the best. Molly seems to like the gifts if not the company as well. Thanks for sharing 😍😘
Stephanie, some of those tartan bulbs should be used to decorate Jerry's room before he comes. That chocolate is making me hungry. I want to reach through my screen and snap a piece off lol...Merry Advent everyone.
All your Advent and Christmas Cadeaux at the the Château are so festive, warm and inspiring, it makes me come into the festive season when it I need it most in grey cold days, THANK YOU ALL!!!!
I can't remember exsactly when I started watching..but I think it was right towards the end of covid or middle. Mummy wasn't there but you talked about her a lot. Much love a d prayers for miracles you need in 2023!! Keep laughing and smiling it is contagious :) in a good way !
The ornaments brought back a memory of my grandmother making a quilt with the little hexagons of fabric whip stitched together. She also used paper to keep the shapes accurate. I am enjoying your channel and look forward to seeing the Lalande family several times a week.
The large ornaments that Bill sends are really gorgeous. I wonder if they're reasonably weatherproof because they'd look nice hanging outside with the fairy lights in the courtyard garden. Happy Holidays!
Alexander fits in perfectly there
Molly is so sweet and inquisitive. It’s lovely to see a pet living at the Chateau full time now.
i personally love the sound of “dancing toe nails“ 🦩🏳️🌈🌻🇺🇦
I'm so glad my gift arrived on time and you liked them, especially Pizza Rat. Merry Christmas Lalanders!
Loved - the pizza rat !!!
Alexander is such a lovely kind funny person. I loved watching him with molly❤
Molly is just what the chateau needed! She brings that special softness only a well-loved dog can bring to a home.
Alexander is a lovely young man, he fits right into the lovely friends and family of LaLande. Thanks all, and Philip ❤
Love the crossover from other channels! Such a talent! 🦩🏳️🌈🌻🇺🇦
Lovely post Stephanie and so nice to see Alexander so relaxed and looking as if he was meant to be there.
He fits in so well, !
Glad he took a break from wearing shades.
Now you need a tiny tree with miniature ornaments! Hugs from NY
So good to see Alexander enjoying himself x
I also like how Molly is by his side
Molly has such incredible manners and forbearance for a dog that can smell chocolate on everybody’s hands, if that had been my dog you would have all lost your fingers!

The really small ornaments would look cute on the tiny tree In the Chateau advent calendar Courtyard
PHILLIP! The Master Christmas Tree Supervisor.......chop chop!.
At 57 I am a child of pre paracetamol.... when we needed pain relief my mother ground up an aspirin into choc syrup. It was better than drinking a dissolved aspirin in water. Lol... when you said chocolate as medicine, it bought back that memory. Thank you.
I’m also 57 and my mother also ground up an aspirin in a teaspoon of water! Unfortunately she did not think of adding chocolate syrup 😁
@Joan In Florida These days I’m on daily low dose aspirin but at least I can swallow them whole now lol!
That green frame is beautiful. Jay Strongwater is a very high end accessory designer. Truly a gracious gift.
Philip i didn’t think i could love you more, but then you quoted The Nanny and my heart skipped a beat! ❤❤❤❤ 21:21
When Davey's at cadeaux, he always seems to get stuck with a giant box on his lap! LOL Merry Advent to all!
And he missed out on round 2 of chocolate tasting 😢
So nice to see Davey, Alexander and Molly!!
That frame! I have never seen anything like it! Nettie's idea to place it in front of a mirror is perfect, the only way to show off the picture in the frame and the back of the frame itself, or a table in the middle of the room.

Such a gorgeous Crystal star! It will look beautiful at sunset in a window ❣
Home made crumpets with melted cheese for dinner tonight : can you believe that you Lalanders gave me the idea ?
My son, artist, suggested that you could hang the very large ornaments on your pollard tree's frames like music note perhaps a carol.? They are lovely
So much fun! It looks like David has become so much more at ease. 👏👏
Love the video, Alexander, very handsome.always fun to watch you unwrap gifts Stephanie, you are precious ❤️🎅🏼🧑🏻🎄🆒😊🇺🇸
Oh seeing Molly taking a peek and a sniff…reminds me of a bumper sticker… “have you ever felt the warmth of a cold nose?” 🦩🏳️🌈🌻🇺🇦🎄🍾
Steph : Just tell mommy it is a sun catcher and not a snowflake ornament,,,that ought to do it....Cherryl from Canada

Great gifts. But the glass snowflake is stunning! Molly is so sweet❣️ I love how you are all together and celebrate life. Heartwarming🌲🦚
Could the very large tartan baubles survive on a tree or large Bush in the courtyard? With fairy lights would be a lovely welcome to guests.x

That Nova Scotia tartan is immediately recognizable to most Canadians, and probably the provincia tartan that is. It's a lovely colour combo.
My mother used a bonsai juniper for her Christmas tree. So tiny ornaments were the choice. I struggled to find such lovely things as the birds you are gifted today. Christmas is such a joyful time.
Whenever I have a rough day seeing a video from you all always makes it better. 🥰
