This turned out great, however, without an explanation it is sometimes hard to figure out what you’ve done (the stuff you’re doing on the keyboard - how you delete certain things, mine def wasn’t working like this)

How do you have all those colour and stroke options on the right such as cap, corner..etc I have illustrator 2022 and the right side tab is mostly blank, all of my options are hidden in small menus. I can't find anything on how to change it. I am on a MacBook. Edit Never mind, I found it. Top right corner, switch workspace and Layout option.

Why expand apperance?
So when you use the effect panel such at the arc tool. You need confirm by expand appearance to make it its own shape :)
