- Wang Jinrei concept trailer and mod showcase for Tekken 7. Including combo examples in T7 mechanic. I also create new rage art animation which resemble to his Tekken 6 ending.

I thought that too, and I'm reminded a TTT2 cutscene of Wang, Jinpachi, and Sebastian (Lili's butler) just happen to be old friends and drinking tea.

@@kawansaymon2082 I dont think he is dead. The story in Tekken force back in T6 still showing him speaking something at the end or along the story. If you are counting him as dead from his own story mode then we would have Devil Ganryu that cannot fly by now.

Older characters are always better. So I'm gonna stick with Wang cause I main him since Tekken 5.
Besides Wang Jinrei has one thing Leroy doesn't: Parrying with only ONE HAND ✋️
Oh yeah, I forgot. Wang Jinrei's more badass than the bullshit character Leroy.
Also Jinrei is wonderfully animated and sized properly. I can understand and appreciate every single move and animation. Fahkumram is just a massive blur, every move looks the same as the last, and he is like a mugen character, out of place with how large and disproportionate he is.
Goddamn I miss using Wang so much.

@Angry asf Man That ending isn't canon. The story mode in Tekken 6 is the Scenario Campaign and that is what is canon. Jin was the only character to face and defeat Azazel. Wang and Baek never faced Azazel. Even Steve's ending has Paul and Law blow up in an explosion.
The character endings in Tekken 6 are "what if" endings if another specific character would have won the tournament.

Wang is such an underrated character, there is quite some depth to his gameplan, not like the new breed of characters we get nowadays. Hope to see him in tekken 8 but this must be pretty damn close to what we would get if he was included as a dlc in tekken 7. Great job as always!

That costume rage art is beautiful. God I miss Wang. I hope he returns in T8, and for the people who are saying he is dead...he isn't. It's a common misconception, but his ending in T6 isn't canon, so he's not dead. Just missing, like Jun.
He could be related to her like her grandfather, just like how he assisted jinpachi, she will definitely be assisting jin kazama
you really cant be serious with whatever's going on in the tekken lore. Regardless whether they're dead or not, people still find a way to shoehorn a (returning) character to game like jun, ogre and kazumi.
He is not dead. Bamco decides all this. He could easily be resurrected. Hope he returns in Tekken 8.

Unfortunately I believe he died in between 6 and 7.
@@ZangetsuDDR I'm pretty sure his Tekken 6 ending is non-canon, given how it contradicts the actual story, where Jin was the one who did it. Though dying because of old age makes sense too.
I think the real reason why he didn't come back is because he was unpopular compared to the rest of the cast, where Leroy replacing him (ig?) and the same goes for Bruce (Josie and Fahk).
Tag 2’s ending makes it possible for them to return. The ‘old timers’ group. Ganryu in T7 is already a nod to their group

@@larrybyrd6596 That's not canon. His ending where he beats Azazel is depending whether he wins the tournament. The canon ending in T6 is Devil Jin's.

Wang Jinrei seems to combine moves from various martial arts. I've noticed some Wing Chun stances in the close-ups but during the fighting, I think he's using a mix of moves from Tai Chi Chuan and Xing Yi Quan. Thoughts, anyone?
