In the new age, spiritual and astrological community, mercury retrogrades have a bad reputation. I'm a Virgo with a Cancer Ascendant and Moon in Aries. Back in the days before I payed attention to the movement of Mercury, I was unable to recognize the effects of Mercury Retrograde. As most of you know, this event happens 3-4 times a year 3 weeks at a time. I spent a lot of time being confused. In early 2000, I started shifting my consciousness (all aspects), which allows me to see the bigger picture, and not get tied into the illusion presented by a conditional reality. Now when Mercury's energy wanes, I adjust my awareness, and remain calm.
I just love the way she has that little cute giggle every now and then when she finishes a sentence..I find it very uplifting!btw teal I love yr knowledge and thank you for sharing it xxx

On my way home 30 minutes ago I knew I will find out why are some things happening to me right now and I was right :) This time is now and I can see it in my actions and thoughts ! I discovered that I wasn't paid much attention in my childhood so I am doing things to draw the attention of everyone now - I made my own hairstyle that made everyone look at me(prodigy vocal haircut style) and I even thought of piercing , coloring and some other stuff that I never did.

I never heard these ideas before. Looks like it occurs 3 times a year, or about every 116 days on average, lasting 20-24 days, variable since Mercury's motion is elliptical. For inner planet Mercury, retrograde is when Mercury crosses interior conjunction, between the earth and the sun. Prograde is its normal forward motion.

It was a very mercury retrograde day for me today, I feel a bit better after watching this video. Mercury retrograde happens so often. I used to think myself immune. I wander if following the spiritual path that I do makes me more vulnerable to Mercury retrograde?
