This one is for all the vintage handbag lovers out there!
A coupe of weeks ago I bought not one but THREE Louis Vuitton handbags that I have been wanting in my collection for such a long time. In this video I will share with you each of the bags I purchased and why I purchased them. All are vintage and purchased through a Japanese eBay seller. I am so glad I got my hands on some more Louis Vuitton before their crazy price increase!

Regarding the rivets, I had that with a preloved Noe that I bought as well. I just removed it and went to lv to get a new one in. They were able to do it in store for free.

Fantastic choices. I really enjoy eBay! I have a black epi petite noe and its a hard wearing toss around bag. I had the leather banding replaced on mine so now the tabs etc are super strong and new. I also bought a matching slider tab for the strings from etsy, it makes it sooo much nicer to use. Always love a pochette accessories! and the speedy is my absolute favorite most practical bag! New sub

The noe is such a classic piece and the epi leather is so beautiful. Do you find that it’s heavy? I think it’s perfect for a work bag (love it being a bit understated) but I always worry with everything in there it’s be a bit of a shoulder killer. You’ve convinced me to put the epi version on my wishlist now.
You can’t go wrong with a speedy. I am 100% with you on the sizing. I either want a crossbody or the largest bag I can get. I returned my speedy 25 to fashionphile because it was too small for me. I definitely plan to add a 30 and/or 35 to my collection in the future. Quick tip: Be careful applying brasso to the rivets that are against vachetta because it will stain & dry out the leather. I made that mistake polishing my original petit noe strap which I have since retired.
SAVED THE BEST FOR LAST! I will die by the pochette accessories being the most versatile piece by LV. I will FOREVER be obsessed with it. I could literally talk about it for days 😆
I love purchasing from Japanese sellers on Ebay! You can get such incredible deals. It’s a great idea to have your bags authenticated. Even though Japan has strict laws against replicas/fakes you NEVER KNOW!

I think the Noe is absolutely fine however I haven’t yet filled it completely so I think yes it would be quite heavy with a lot inside. Especially with your new bub I can imagine you have to carry around so much!
Yes the speedy 25 was just way too small and for me it was such an effort using it so I’m happy to sell it on and use the 30 instead. If I had the option I would get the cross body but they are hard to find on the preloved market.

You should buy swivel hook for the petit noe. It tend the to stretch the leather hook.

Not knowing has put me off shopping this way
Personally my experience has been so easy, the bags I have purchased from Japan arrive in just a few days and I haven't yet been asked to pay any duties or taxes Xx

Hi. Love your new bags. Is the bottom of the epi all scratched? I bought a Neo mm in epi and the bottom is scratched from only using it one time. It’s a soft smooth bottom. I am so disappointed.

I just had a look at my bag and there are a couple of scratches but they aren't very noticeable. That is such a shame about yours, I guess because I buy my bags preloved I am always expecting there to be some damage. If I bought the bag brand new from Louis Vuitton and it scratched within 1 day I would be upset too! I never understand why all larger bags don't have feet on the bottom to help protect them.
